I hated Tribeca. I was mad at myself for falling for hype.
Now I love it. WHY, you ask?
Because it is in a nice big clearo on my Spinner at low voltage and is lovely with 6 drops of Frenilla and 2 drops of NT Caramel mixed in.
Honestly, CKS, your juice makes everything pop.
I am thinking of cooking with it.

I have a question for you and anyone else with an opinion: What is it about the SmokTech Zmax that gets no love on this and other forums? I hear a lot of suggestions for Vamos, none for the ZMax, and I don't understand why. Really, not trying to pick a fight. Just trying to understand from the experienced folks!

I researched long and hard (LOL, sound like the guy who was dissing our NT) and came to the decision that a ZMax was better. Couple of reasons: built more sturdily and I am really hard on things, dropping them etc.
Button is less sensitive and doesn't get activated by random touches like the Vamo is supposedly prone to.
The LED screen is more secure and doesn't tilt or whatever like the Vamo is known to do.
Although many say the one button system is a turn off, I found it was not that hard to learn at all. The Provari has a one button, right?
The only thing I have found that needs an adapter on the ZMax is the Vision Victory BCC and the PTs as well as the DCT cartos fit beautifully.
Reviews I listened to by PBusardo and others indicated the ZMax by Smok was a bit better than the ZMax.
Reviews I read seemed to like the ZMax better basically due to a better build.

So, in short I bought the ZMax. So far so good. But, I am always in the learning mode and want to know what might be better about the Vamo!! I might add that as another cheap mod, who knows. Probably not, I think I will go up from here not lateral. I think they are too similar to have one of each.

For me, it came down to price - and variable wattage (Not even sure if the zmax does variable wattage, but I like the feature - I use it as my device that I frequently swap attys on)

I tried a few drops of CLS in Prime 15 and... POP!

Same here. Like you, it was one of the first juices I ordered along with the H' something or other. Even adding menthol couldn't "fix" it or the other one. I never thought of adding the joose to balance it out.

I personally like the Segelei Zmax Mini. I have one that is Custom Stainless steel and it's a tank of a mod in such a small space.

Good afternoon NT family!

Clark, don't you have an R91 headed your way? If so the R91 has air flow control, the KFL, not so much.
Nah - that opportunity dried up. I wish ;)

That would be me. I was gonna get one for him too but this initial co-op knocked the qty down to only 1 per person for now since demand was so high. I hear talk of a round 2 though, shortly after my birthday....

AW 14500 750mah 3.7v protected Batteries- ICR-

Is the description
Buzz, you should only use protected batteries in mechanical mods that don't have built-in protection circuitry.

I don't know which mod or mech you're looking at now but the 18mm diameter ones (beginning with 18xxx) are more common for use in those than the 14xxx ones you quoted above.

And let me put this out there, without you getting mad or think I'm insulting please, just some honest advice. I really think you need to get into vaping a little bit more before jumping into mechanicals. All the pros you see with them out here have already had at least one or two Vamos, Provaris, SVDs, or the like, in short some kind of regulated mod, before jumping on the mech bandwagon. You need to be pro at wrapping your own coils with mechs because that is how you regulate your resistance. There is no variable voltage and variable wattage with mechanicals... (Unless you install a kick but if that's the case, might as well just go with the APV mod to begin with as you've defeated the purpose of a mech in the first place.)

In short, I believe you're asking the wrong questions. Since you sound like you're still a bit new to all this and if you don't have a multimeter on hand already, or at least a Vamo or Provari or something to measure the resistance of your coils, you may very well end up blowing your face off with a mech. And you know I don't want to see that happen to you!

So my suggestion? Spent the $37 to get a Vamo from Fasttech for now (better yet since you don't have batteries or a charger, this kit for $59 has everything you need and comes with a great Nitecore charger). Next play around with different toppers like RBA's and tanks and learn to wrap coils. I'd recommend the IGO-L for a great RBA (rebuildable atomizer) and then move up from there. You really need something to learn on first before jumping right into mechs.

*soapbox mode off* ;)

Mods, mechs, batteries, PT, no PT, CP doing okay, Pat doing okay, everyone doing okay, no Dishy, no aussies in their thread, no money to buy desired Reos, wanting jooses, FP is doing okay, I figured out what I did wrong with my GCD tank...I think that sums it up. ;)

Megan, I love your summaries... there's no way I could take that job away from you! :p

I have the Sigelei Z-Max v3 Telescope, better screen than the Smoktech version but I forget the other differences. I thought I heard it was built a bit better too. But functionality wise, very similiar. I personally prefer the 3 button system on my Vamo over the one-button on the Z-Max but that's just me. I like that my Z-Max can take 18500 batteries in addition to 18650 and 18350. (The Vamo can do 18650 or 18350 only.) To me, the build quality of both the Vamo and the Z-Max seem pretty similar. I've had a couple wonky button issues on both from time to time but usually a little Noalox on the threads clears it right up. On the Vamo v3, I also like that the top ring is removable so I can clean out that drip well better since a q-tip just never reaches down there, and the wadded up paper towel sometimes just doesn't have enough stiffness to properly clean the gunk from in there.

November 15th here. Scorpios RULE!...Italian/Irish Scorpios are scary but ya gotta love us!
Italian/British/French Scorpio here... talk about a .....! LOL
Naaah not all the time, just don't do anything to piss us off, right glow? youknowwhatimsayin
Fortunately my Taurus moon and Cancer rising temper those Scorpio tendencies a lot and make me a more well rounded member of society (and a super loyal family loving Scorp). ;)

Just got some bad news...The house will not be ready until the end of next week. I'm not sure I can stay as sane as I am for much longer. I'm already half way to snapping and cranky as heck! I swear, I never get a moment's peace here, my stepdad knocks on my door whenever he feels like it, whether at 11:00 at night or on Sunday during the game, like I live to serve him?! No and you're not MY husband either, leave me alone! I am cooped up in a tiny place with a dog and a cat/kitten! For four months I have lived like this, I have had enough!! I love my stepdad, but dang he is self-centered!

And this guy, my builder, started on the house last April/May, what is your problem?! Ugh, I'm going to lay down...One more week, right? Hope I make it...I've already had enough this week and it's Wednesday...If I as a grown woman, do not get my privacy back soon, I am going to go crazy.

Hope everyone else is having a good day! I'm off to lay down, I'm exhausted...Already working on my NT order for Friday, I'm leaving for my cruise on October 27 and I want some steeped virus to make the journey with me! ;)

That's honestly another reason I am aggravated, leaving in under a month and I have no way to get my clothes! I have no colder weather clothes as it's supposed to cool off this weekend and I wasn't supposed to be here this long. My bathing suits are in storage too! I have to move then try and pack?! Uh-uh, I need some 12 mg today, I'm stressed and angry! And very tired...Living attached to a 24/7 bonding business is no way to live at all. Hope everyone is ok! Sorry, I am just tired, one thing after another...
