I personally like the Segelei Zmax Mini. I have one that is Custom Stainless steel and it's a tank of a mod in such a small space.

Anyone else?

Not me, half Spanish Leo here. Maybe that's where my temper comes from, lol! I am a cusp baby, born 7/23. Had I been a little over an hour and a half earlier I'd have been a Cancer instead...

Good afternoon NT family!

That would be me. I was gonna get one for him too but this initial co-op knocked the qty down to only 1 per person for now since demand was so high. I hear talk of a round 2 though, shortly after my birthday....

Buzz, you should only use protected batteries in mechanical mods that don't have built-in protection circuitry.

I don't know which mod or mech you're looking at now but the 18mm diameter ones (beginning with 18xxx) are more common for use in those than the 14xxx ones you quoted above.

And let me put this out there, without you getting mad or think I'm insulting please, just some honest advice. I really think you need to get into vaping a little bit more before jumping into mechanicals. All the pros you see with them out here have already had at least one or two Vamos, Provaris, SVDs, or the like, in short some kind of regulated mod, before jumping on the mech bandwagon. You need to be pro at wrapping your own coils with mechs because that is how you regulate your resistance. There is no variable voltage and variable wattage with mechanicals... (Unless you install a kick but if that's the case, might as well just go with the APV mod to begin with as you've defeated the purpose of a mech in the first place.)

In short, I believe you're asking the wrong questions. Since you sound like you're still a bit new to all this and if you don't have a multimeter on hand already, or at least a Vamo or Provari or something to measure the resistance of your coils, you may very well end up blowing your face off with a mech. And you know I don't want to see that happen to you!

So my suggestion? Spent the $37 to get a Vamo from Fasttech for now (better yet since you don't have batteries or a charger, this kit for $59 has everything you need and comes with a great Nitecore charger). Next play around with different toppers like RBA's and tanks and learn to wrap coils. I'd recommend the IGO-L for a great RBA (rebuildable atomizer) and then move up from there. You really need something to learn on first before jumping right into mechs.

*soapbox mode off* ;)

Megan, I love your summaries... there's no way I could take that job away from you! :p

I have the Sigelei Z-Max v3 Telescope, better screen than the Smoktech version but I forget the other differences. I thought I heard it was built a bit better too. But functionality wise, very similiar. I personally prefer the 3 button system on my Vamo over the one-button on the Z-Max but that's just me. I like that my Z-Max can take 18500 batteries in addition to 18650 and 18350. (The Vamo can do 18650 or 18350 only.) To me, the build quality of both the Vamo and the Z-Max seem pretty similar. I've had a couple wonky button issues on both from time to time but usually a little Noalox on the threads clears it right up. On the Vamo v3, I also like that the top ring is removable so I can clean out that drip well better since a q-tip just never reaches down there, and the wadded up paper towel sometimes just doesn't have enough stiffness to properly clean the gunk from in there.

Italian/British/French Scorpio here... talk about a .....! LOL
Naaah not all the time, just don't do anything to piss us off, right glow? youknowwhatimsayin
Fortunately my Taurus moon and Cancer rising temper those Scorpio tendencies a lot and make me a more well rounded member of society (and a super loyal family loving Scorp). ;)

Good day Ms. Cherie - I am keeping the prayers coming your way - great advise btw - I have been vaping for over a year and am just now getting on the mechanical bandwagon. Spent a good year with the egos before getting my VAMO - I love vaping with the VAMO. Takes a lot of the guess work out - just adjust it to where the joose tastes the best and you done.

Starting to build coils have done a couple but have not attached them to anything as I feel the practice of just wrapping must be mastered first. I have a 510 connector ohm meter coming and I will test everything before I use it.
Have a nemesis clone that is to be shipped by FT on the 4th - first real mechanical - will probably admire it for a while until I get the coil building down to a science.
Baby steps are always a good thing.

What's with all the contraband?! :D
I lol'ed at that one. I shipped all my blue-cap 'contraband' to Clark for his collection - they were just taking up cabinet space and there was no way I was putting NT juices aside to vape any of them. That would be akin to passing up a big ol' rack of smoked ribs for a quinoa patty!

Ah, it's frustrating waiting for over a year and a half for something that should not take that long to be finished...Was supposed to be last December, then July then this week, now the next one...We already had the house, the front part so no foundation or anything that needed to be poured. Gets really old. My cruise is my first vacation in like 5 years! Then I get to come back and my stepdad has surgery then me!

And I would gladly come Pat, please get me out of here! Not upset about getting the house or going on a cruise, upset about living here for so long all cooped up! ;) and I really do feel badly for my animals, they're cooped up too! I only have one place to sit. My bed, my twin bed, lol!! I may have 300 square feet if I'm lucky...I'm tired of excuses, I just want it to be done! A year and a half is more than enough time, I think! It's a 2 bedroom house, lol!

Orders up to and including #1471 have been artfully hand-mixed, carefully packaged, and were delivered to the USPS on Tuesday. I took yesterday off from mixing and spent it with my daughter – Katy and I are back on the horse today so we should have a healthy number of orders in the mail tomorrow.

Lead-times do not include time in transit. When calculating estimated shipment date, bear in mind some time may have passed since this update was written so lead times to ship are subject to slip 1-2 days business days based on volume. Generally, we strive to ship all orders within 3 business days (which does not include Saturday or Sunday). The above guidance is a conservative estimate of when you can expect your order to be delivered to the USPS for delivery. **MOST ORDERS SHIP SOONER**

Making an appointment with the optometrist now. Some reason I can't see purple! ;)

Yes it is as a matter of fact.

That is so VERY cool! I think you may be my hero! I have a few so you don't have to feel any responsibility to be larger than life or anything! You can even get busted for drugs or a DWV and I will still love you!!! (DWV = Driving while vaping).

DH was a bull or bronc rider, I never keep that straight. I think it was bulls. And the folks that I talk about in Post ride and rope as I have mentioned about 1,000 times. I am way too old and way too sore from all my physical woes to ever try to do any of this. Just always wished I had grown up with horses and on a ranch. Oh well. Somebody has to be a city kid, right?

I hated Tribeca. I was mad at myself for falling for hype.
Now I love it. WHY, you ask?
Because it is in a nice big clearo on my Spinner at low voltage and is lovely with 6 drops of Frenilla and 2 drops of NT Caramel mixed in.
Honestly, CKS, your juice makes everything pop.
I am thinking of cooking with it.

Now you have made yet another version of RY4. You should market it with Clark's permission. I will try a 30 ml bottle and pay you for it!

I don't have any Tribeca, or Freeeenilla or Caramel from NT.

For me, it came down to price - and variable wattage (Not even sure if the zmax does variable wattage, but I like the feature - I use it as my device that I frequently swap attys on)

Yeah, Zmax is VV VW and it has the RMS setting as well. Those were two of the selling features that I was looking for as well. Mine was about $15 more than a Vamo but I had a $40 store credit and there wasn't anything else I wanted from them.

HERE is another question for the experts. I just fried (I think) my battery charger. Note to self: do not leave battery charger plugged in next to coffee pot when making coffee. Water and charger does not make for good performance. I will let it dry completely, use rice etc. but I am in the market for another charger for my 18650s. First: one that is safe and not as slow as molasses but still good for the batteries. Second: One that will not break the already cracked bank. So, what and where would be my question. I am searching the interwebs but there are so many options. I don't have time to wait for FT delivery. Need my ZMax now. KTHKSBAI.
