I don't blame FT, Pat, I blame Hong Kong post...It'll get here, customs officials are just going nuts with packages right now from what I read, x-rating them all or something like that. Before all this hoopla started, I ordered my stuff and it was here within 2 weeks. I think they are even telling people to get them to ship out of a different place than Hong Kong? I believe that's what I read...
The whole Fasttech thing doesn't sit well with me. Aside from the extended shipping times (I'm impatient!) and the fact that it's sometimes hard to tell clones/fakes from the real deal on their site, I also don't like the idea of my credit card info floating around in China. It may be an unfounded fear, but it still creeps me out (and yeah, I know a lot of credit card ripoffs have happened dealing with US vendors). I don't mind paying a bit more to buy from a US shop (and yeah, I know the stuff is made in/imported from China anyway) - shipping is quicker, customer service is easier/more accessible and I'm helping support an American business (even if they are selling made in China stuff). Just my .02 - YMMV.

My NT order should be here tomorrow :) but then a :(

Having sinus surgery at 9:30am tomorrow morning, so probably won't be vaping, and if I am, sure I won't be able to taste anything, guess the new juice will have plenty of time to steep and be a good time to use up crap juice up that I don't like. Doc says will take 6 weeks to fully heal, sure hope it won't take that long to get my taste and smell back.

My thoughts are with you nailz! I hpe it is a success and a speedy recovery! *HUGS*

We must be sisters! Have all his books (in hardback:) LOVE that movie, I watch it whenever I come across it.

Great movie, great book! His fiction was so interesting and often dead on in actual political threats, very intelligent writer...

I love him too and will miss his insight into the possible inner workings of things. I love his books!! :(

Alright here's a few hair pics I snapped with the webcam on my lappy. The sun is starting to set at the time I took these and the blinds are pulled (otherwise it gets super hot in here). The purple will brighten significantly after a couple washes, so it's a bit darker now than it will look by next week. The pink is looking pretty bright already though so I hope that doesn't get much brighter or I might need shades.

*alright I can't pick out the best ones so you get 4, but cuz of that, I'm putting only the thumbs and you have to click em for the full sized version.

GOEGEOUS!!!! I lovelovelove it!

Love it CP! I could never pull anything like that off!

I took a pic of my color

It's bright now but red fades faster and I like it once it fades a bit and then I adore it! I like it bright too, but I did just get it done yesterday! So you know how it goes, gotta leave it alone for a bit...

***I really hate taking pictures or picture of myself...***

OMG you are so pretty! Why would you not like pictures of yourself! :D

Save money with vaping.....AAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAAA!  :D

I've heard rumors that it's possible, but I'm not even anywhere near the "break even" point yet. I may eventually reach it, as I'm finally completely satisfied with the mods and juice devices I have now...pretty much all I'm buying now is juice. If I can stick with that, I *may* break even sometime in the middle of next year.

My husband figured it out that a bottle of juice equals so many cigarettes and that smoking is cheaper by $4 per "pack" if you factor in a ml as several cigs etc...I'm not the math person but he ran the numbers and it's very funny. In the end we will save money on medial expenses that we would have as smokers so that wasn't factored in...Mr. number guy had to see how it balanced though

Yeah, I'll break even in 2037 and that's if I'm dead in 2033!

So true!!!

I hear ya loud and clear on the saving money with vaping thing. Seeing as how I only smoked no more than 5 a day, and I used to get my cartons for $35, I've got a looooooong way to go before I start saving money vaping over smoking!!

Right there with you! Look at my ticker...I've spent WAY more than that!!

all i can change now is volts is that what you mean by the heat

Well, I think so...hope someone else can speak to this...I just play with my spinners. I'll go back to the kid table now...

Okay. I'm caught up and crashing fast. No one set fire to themselves or others! *sleepy hugs*

I have the smoktech zmax. It's not a bad device. Few things I don't like....it does feel kinda cheap. The 510 connection is deep so some attys wont connect unless you use a 510 to 510 connector. And when you change batteries it resets the settings. So I have to adjust it again. The threads are definitely kind of scratchy. The menu system is similar to the provari so that's no biggie and it'll usually fire a bit lower than the provari. Sometimes it'll even let me use a 1 ohm atty.

Maybe we have different versions? My ZMaz keeps the settings when I change the battery and the threads are smooth (I think, I don't have much to compare it to, it is my first APV).

ETA: Thank you for the reply! I read this over and thought to myself: "Self, you uppity ingrate! This nice man just answered your question and you are all 'mine keeps the settings'". I am interested in the differences that caused people to buy what they bought. We all make our decisions based on our research and then we life with the result....or sell it in the classies!

Yeah, Zmax is VV VW and it has the RMS setting as well. Those were two of the selling features that I was looking for as well. Mine was about $15 more than a Vamo but I had a $40 store credit and there wasn't anything else I wanted from them.

HERE is another question for the experts. I just fried (I think) my battery charger. Note to self: do not leave battery charger plugged in next to coffee pot when making coffee. Water and charger does not make for good performance. I will let it dry completely, use rice etc. but I am in the market for another charger for my 18650s. First: one that is safe and not as slow as molasses but still good for the batteries. Second: One that will not break the already cracked bank. So, what and where would be my question. I am searching the interwebs but there are so many options. I don't have time to wait for FT delivery. Need my ZMax now. KTHKSBAI.

Pat, I hope that wasn't taken wrong. Down here, it seems things aren't great/cool unless they are done in an extreme. So I should rephrase, the guys I saw with highlights, it didn't look like highlights, looked like skunk hair. And it takes forever for fads to fade out because we were so isolated, with the Internet that's kind of changed things a little. I remember girls with those big bangs and all that hairspray from the 1980s, which yes I did too but quit Freshman year, my hair and bangs do not work well! It waves, so my bangs when not curled were lopsided, lol! Not a good look, but anyways that lasted throughout high school for a lot of girls and that was well beyond the 80s!

I honestly didn't mean it as a slam against anyone, I can remember seeing ones that looked good in the magazines, etc. Just not many face to face. But that's just my opinion and in all honesty it doesn't count for much! To each their own and if it makes you happy, then that's all that matters. :) I really hope you didn't take it in a way I didn't mean for it to be taken...

CP, my cousin had smurf blue hair at one point in the 90s, he told us how they went about it, that you had to bleach the color out and put the new one in. We were curious because most of my family has very dark hair so we were trying to figure out how that worked out. And goodness knows I may have played with Sun In, but I saw a bunch of brunette a wind up with some different colored hair, so I left it to the blondes! I think I was in middle school though and my mom probably would not have allowed it!

Night Megan! Sleep well sweetie, for some odd reason my stepfather has not gone home. I think he's in the dog house...So I doubt I'll sleep much tonight, he gets beer too often and is not quiet about it!

My current color is processed as a highlight. It's bleached out with the foils before applying the color, so the first step is just like doing a highlight. Of course, we don't bleach it out each time, probably just 3 times a year maybe, all the other times we just touch up the roots... the color at the ends grows quite a bit lighter over time... prior to today, my ends were a fairly light purple pinkish color. But the thing is, highlights done this way look fine even if it's only the ends that are colored. I've seen lots of people do it that way actually. Had it that way myself in the beginning but I like the streaks better. That said my stylist did put in a lot more steaks this time. We'll see how it works out... actually over the next few months, as I get the roots touched up, there will be less and less of the streak chunks left so I guess it makes sense to do a bit more in the beginning so you don't end up having no streaks left 4 months from now. I dunno... that's why I'm not a stylist... I leave those decisions up to my girl Sarah cuz she'd da bomb! :)

Oh no, hon, I am sorry, I meant the sun in! Another danged ADD moment!

I get highlights now too, this was a loooong time ago, I was in middle school. My ex-stepdad was a hairdresser. He pulled too much hair through and I wound up blonde. My home coloring experiment,ps, ie maroon hair, was in college. I knew nothing about how to color hair. It's not that it wasn't pretty or a nice shade, just wasn't what I was trying to accomplish and it wasn't me, as in not my personality! I love your hair, I think it looks great and am a tad jealous that you can pull it off! I couldn't, but that is just me.

People keep scaring me about mechanical for my first mod

Sent from my galaxy Note 2

I read up on CP's soapbox, and part of me agrees - but, for all of us that have a fleet of variable voltage devices, most people ultimately land on a mech and stick with it... that said, if you can, I would learn how to wrap a coil on whatever device you can practice on currently... ohm meters are relatively cheap... wick and wire is cheap... watching vids on Youtube is easy enough to do... it's not that hard, BUT, be careful... remember never to strap a freshly wrapped coil on a mech with a fresh battery without testing it *with the cap on*, and make sure the coil you wrap is firmly in place (screwed down).

I've already started to save money by vaping and still have hundreds of ml of primo NT juice to go through.

As I mentioned before, I've surprised myself by how quickly the nic fits I remember as a smoker have tapered off, so my daily juice consumption has gotten pretty low. That said, the key to already saving money for me has been not spending a bunch on vaping hardware. Got just enough to get the job done. Spend most of my disposable income on more durable goods; e.g.

I agree with you but i need to get at least one vw/vv and eventually one mechanical, not because i need it but because i want to learn the science of owning one.

Yeah, I get that. The "science" involved is really just Ohm's law, which is pretty easy to understand.

Today's vw/vv mods, (I use a Tesla), won't let you do anything more "dangerous" than burning out a coil and/or getting burnt-tasting hits. Don't be at all intimidated by em. Just put on the topper of your choice and adjust to taste; it's that easy.

Nice, congrats!

Hi Clark. How you doin? So far my coil is working pretty good. 10 wraps 28 kanthal micro with cotton @ 1.4 ohms and some CB. It looked pretty good to me but I'm sure the coil pros in here would have a tip or two for me. I'm not quite a pro yet....I'm trying..lol

(UPDATED AT 12:30 AM CST on 10-3-2013)

SHIPPING INFORMATION, LEAD TIME GUIDANCE, and ETA UNTIL NEW ORDERS ARE MIXED AND SHIPPED:

Orders up to and including #1515 have been artfully hand-mixed, carefully packaged, and were delivered to the USPS tomorrow (Thursday) if they have not already shipped. We hammered out a ton of orders today!

*****TOP ORDER NUMBER IS #1520 which leaves us 5 orders in arrears. The next order placed, #1521, will ship on or before TUESDAY 10-8-2013. (Three business days – I never quote any less) We’re mixing it up tomorrow so obviously it’ll ship sooner, but I always try to under-promise and over-deliver…

Lead-times do not include time in transit. When calculating estimated shipment date, bear in mind some time may have passed since this update was written so lead times to ship are subject to slip 1-2 days business days based on volume. Generally, we strive to ship all orders within 3 business days (which does not include Saturday or Sunday). The above guidance is a conservative estimate of when you can expect your order to be delivered to the USPS for delivery.

**MOST ORDERS SHIP SOONER**

Looking forward to filling your bottles!~

~Clark
