Nicotine % and flavor?

I've been told by a shop owner that the lower nicotine you go the more flavor you'll taste with your juice. Will there be any significant difference between 6mg, to 3mg?

I've tried the same juice at 6 mg and 3 mg and couldn't tell a difference in flavor. Then again that's DIY juice so I know my flavorings mixed in.

Between 3 mg and 6 mg I doubt there will be any significant difference but with a drastically higher nic level it will be more obvious. In 3 yrs of diy I've gone from 18 mg to 0 mg and then back to 3 mg because I actually like the juice better with a little nic flavor-lol
