That's not a stupid question at all..can it be answered? I don't know. What I do know is that it's hard to even tell how much nicotine we are even getting into our systems at all; we all inhale/exhale differently. I also know that we aren't absorbing all of the nicotine we are inhaling, so...where does it go? probably gets exhaled into the air around us. So, assuming you are using 24mg juice: that's 24mg/mL right? so figure out from that how much mg's are in one drop of juice and then figure out how much nic is in one drop, figure out how many puffs it takes you personally to use up one drop of juice. Now figure out how much of the nicotine is actually absorbed by each puff.....if you have the answer so far then please let me know.....sorry I couldn't be more help.

Thanks Rosa, I'm math deficient so you lost me after "assume your are using 24mg/ml". ;)

I realize its a complicated and probably impossible thing to measure exactly I just wondered what the more experienced smokers have found.

I am visiting a friend and she can't be around nictone, she is tested monthly for nicotine, and I wondered if my vaping was putting her in jeopardy.
Thanks

you could always just clean out your atty before you show her how it works. run it under hot water for 20 seconds then blow it out from the battery end into some paper towel until there is no more water coming out, and dry it with compressed air or a hair dryer. i leave mine coil side down in a paper towel over night and in the morning, they are as good as new, minus the yucky primer

I would think it would be impossible to absorb enough second hand nicotine from vaping to register on tests, otherwise anyone requiring zero nicotine in their systems would fail the test by simply walking through a smoking area, eating vegetables, fruits, etc etc.

There are no proven tests done that I'm aware of regarding exhaled nicotine vapor let alone inhaled vaper nicotine intake. And even if there was, I would be very suspect at the results as fact simply because of the variables involved in individual practices of personal use.
