Let's re-run you previous post, and see what you *actually* wrote, shall we?

"Cmon now. If you vape nicotine EVERY DAY you're a nicotine addict. Most addicts in the world are in denial. And the whole ''HOBBY BULL....'' makes me laugh. So loud btw! vaping is a necessity for most. I think vaping is more addicting then cigarettes, Once you start vaping, you want to buy more and more vape products. to the point where the addiction makes you spend more money then you did when you smoked cigarettes, You start saying stuff like you say, and start denying that its bad for you. Vaping isn't good for you either. Its just better then tobacco. I would not want my child to vape or smoke. period! If your a caring parent. We know this forrum is FULL of people stuck in Vape denial. blah blah blah vaping is not bad for you bull..... If your e juice contains nicotine its going to effect your body Stimulants are not good for you over time."

Get this straight for once: if SOME people are spending MORE on vaping gear than they used to spend on vaping, that is THEIR "problem", and more than that, it is a "problem" completely un-related with vaping by itself!

Vaping is not an expensive "addiction", (*) (your way of putting things, not mine), and vapers are not poor hooked "addicts" who need to spend more on vaping than they used to spend on cigarettes, just to keep away from cigarettes.

People who do that, they do it because they started collecting stuff they *like*, not stuff they actually *need*. And therefore, it is a *choice*.

I had once a jealous smoker telling me, about my setup "That's a rich man's 'tobacco' " (As if I was showing off my new Ferrari). We was telling that to me in a envious way, like saying "we poor people *must* use cigarettes".

My response? "Not really. Sure, I've spared some money already, but not enough to make me rich!!"

Moments later, his jaw dropped when I told him about my vaping expenses in the last year. And I made it clear for him that if he could afford the excise taxes on smoking, then he could also afford vaping expenses - three or four times fold.

(*) I guess your definition of "addiction" is very generalist. What about people who use non-nicotine liquids, and ALSO spend some money on devides they like? All there's left is the old behavioral side, the "hand-to-mouth", so difficult for smokers to quit. That would make them just as "addicted" as someone who cannot let go of his new iPhone.

I agree. Everything is a choice. Nicotine is still poison and It still is addictive. And clearly people collect Vape products for fun. But would they collect those products If it wasn't nicotine related? I don't know. I understand what You mean. All I'm doing is saying what I notice other people doing. ANd yes there are those vape people who vape 0 mg's (not sure If I would want to hang with them ever) but they might be nice people. I know this: I wouldn't vape If it had 0 mg's of nicotine.

I saw a Unsolved mysteries or a show like that on T.V. . And this doctor killed his wife with nicotine.
My father was taken to the emergency room for drinking too much water too fast.
Long story, and dementia and paranoia played a part.

At least he didn't die, but these people did...
Georgia teen Zyrees Oliver dies from drinking too much water, Gatorade - CBS News
Woman in water-drinking contest dies - US news - Life | NBC News

Not a television show though, just real life.

The act of vaping is a habit, not an addiction.

What does that have to do with vaping or addiction?

:) Have you been reading people's arguments? They argue and they justify Vaping. It's a waste of time. If your an adult you make your own choices, But all I'm saying is it is poison and addicting. And that fact is pissing people off hahaha!!:rickroll:

You'd like to think you're pissing people off I guess.
But you're not.

You'll have to try an awful lot harder than that to piss me off.
Just look at my "mood" and you'll see.

What I am, though, is somewhat disgusted that a vaper would parrot the propaganda we've been fed.
You'd think we as vapers would like to leave that kind of garbage behind us going forward.

So you can't answer my question. I'm not surprised.

If you can't comprehend what people are saying, and refuse to face facts, I can see where people find that annoying.

For you, what is the Difference between a Habit and an Addiction?
Habit
noun
1. an acquired behavior pattern regularly followed until it has become almost involuntary:
the habit of looking both ways before crossing the street.

Addiction
noun
1. the state of being enslaved to a habit or practice or to something that is psychologically or physically habit-forming, as narcotics, to such an extent that its cessation causes severe trauma.

Spending money one doesn't have on vape gear and e-liquid, vaping in inappropriate places, like the cereal Island at the Walmart, stalking the mailman, never being satisfied , continually chasing more power, vaping despite health issues one attributes to vaping ... All seem like signs of addiction to me...

In my opinion sir or mam, Im addicted to nicotine, Thats my opinion. It's not that serious to me. As long as I not SMoking tobacco Im happy. Its not propaganda. Nicotine is a poison and a is habit forming addictive chemical that gave MANY people lung cancer and has killed many people. All I'm stating is facts. Good for you for not being ...... off. I would hope not. I agree to disagree with the video. Because I been addicted to drugs before and tobacco has been the worst one for me so far. I made my point I'm done.
