It's always so funny, around the "New Year" when the NIC replacement product companies ramp up their advertising to cash in on the stop smoking resolutions.

Nicorette touting their product gives an analog smoker twice the chance of staying off analogs. WHO ARE THEY KIDDING?

How many people do you know that have successfully stayed off analogs long term (More than a couple years), that used the patch, gum, lozenges, whatever!

I don't know a one!

vaping still too new to know what the long term statistics will be, but the early signs sure look good. As most other nicotine replacement products still left users with analog cravings. EVERYONE I have turned on to vaping, has said they just don't have the cravings during those first few weeks. I've convinced 5 people in addition to me, to purchase starter kits over the last month.

Just think, if one thousand vapers convince (5) people each, who in turn convince at least (3) people each, the matrix gets pretty large, very quickly!

I hope everyone here will make a 2010 resolution to convert at least 3 analog users to try vaping!

I started vaping about 14 days ago - because I was starting to really worry about what analogues were doing to me and it's working great so far. I'm yet to vape at work - but I hope people will understand - as they all know I used to smoke. Friends came over at the weekedn and had a lot of questions, but really were understanding about the device once they knew what it was.

Also, I've tried gum and the patches - but the hand to mouth of the vaping device has been key to keep me away from tobacco. I'm sure as well, that I'll covert a few people at work - I love it, I wish I discovered it months ago!

Love it!

Those patches work fine until you rip them off to have a cigarette, which I did countless times before I finally stopped wasting money on patches! The gum just made my jaw ache. I hated it.

I strongly believe that e-cigs are the answer that smokers have been seeking. Big Tobacco won't like it. Big Pharma won't like it either. Gird your loins...

Yeah, patches worked for me until I went and had a drink. Then I needed a smoke and ripped that patch off.
