Nicotine stains

Just curious, but you know if you smoke in the house it tends to yellow paintwork or more to the point your teeth, well I was wondering, seeing as the liquid contains nicotine, would that still be the case ? Or is it something else in tobacco that causes it ?

I'm not 100% sure, but I think tar is the culprit - not the nicotine.

In any event, I seriously doubt that vaping would cause such a problem.

Yes it is the tar in analog's that cause the yellow/brownish staining you see on walls and on the filters of analogs.

You can do a simple test...

Take a piece of toilet paper (not used, of course, hehehe), or a kleenex, or something like that.
Light an analog, take a good puf, but don't swallow the smoke, keep it in your mouth. As fast as you can, seal your lips with the paper, and slowly blow the smoke out.
Look at the paper.

Now do the same using an e-cig, and look at the paper

That was the first think I did when I got my first ecig. It left no color on the tissue paper.

I had to redo my nail tips every 2 weeks because smoking turned them so yellow and since I have quit analogs I cant believe how white they have stayed. Funny the things you notice when you quit.

Pjrltor, you are not the only one who has noticed the difference in her nail tips... no more yellow... just another savings, as I no longer go have acrylics done, no need.

Also, I notice that my computer monitors (the closest surfaces to ME) no longer have residue all over them....

I am looking forward to my next car and being one of those people who put coins or lip gloss or something useful in the ashtray ! And keeping the new car smell, and no more burns near the top edge of the window from flicking ashes out when it's raining and you don't want to roll the window down too far.

My desk is so much neater without the ashtray.. I work at my desk all day at home running my business, and all I have is a cute coffee mug that holds my ecigs of the day, flavor of the day, etc.

Soon, I may be able to start to replace furniture, carpet, etc., paint the walls, clean the windows and have smoke free home.
