Since I've been vaping I feel that I have gotten more addicted to nicotine bc its so easy to vape everywhere. I love all of the different flavors and so I'm constantly vaping. How do I know if I'm getting to much nicotine in my body? I deff like the nicotine and thats why I started vaping in the first place. It deff has helped me kick my bad habit of smoking cigs and I do feel healthier, however, I think that I might be more addicted to nicotine now. I have tried the lower nicotine dosages but they just dont give me the feeling that I am looking for. Right now I'm vaping an 18mg carto. Usually go through about one cart a day. is that normal or too much?

any advice would be great....

You won't feel so hot if you get to much nic. Been there, done that, got the t-shirt.
Get juices with a variety of nic levels and experiment.
I use much lower nic in the evening when I'm on the PC and chain vaping than I do when I get up in the morning.

+1 to knowing you're getting to much when it gives you a headache.

Some people tolerate nic in much higher levels and can vape 2-3 mils a day (or more) of 24-36mg/ml nic.

I was getting headaches vaping 1-1.5 mils a day of 18mg/ml nic.

I switched to 12mg, and I feel fine now.

Some people smoked a lot and therefore "need" more nic. Others not so much. If you're vaping more often than you smoked and feel like 18mg is too much for you, then it probably is.

Whatever level keeps you from going back to analogs and doesn't give you headaches, is the right level, for you.

For me, when I start to get too much nicotine, I start to feel pretty lousy. First thing I notice is usually nausea, second thing is elevated heart rate, third is a really unpleasant cold sweat. Think about how you felt when you were first smoking and chained a couple analogs. I don't think I've managed to do that with my ecig, but there's a first time for everything.

Everybody's different, and everybody vapes differently.

SOmetimes, especially at "I miss the cigs" moments, I vape like an addict. Sucking it in deep, drag after drag after drag, using two PVs cause the atty will overheat, burning through a standard battery without stopping.

Mostly, especially after the first week, it hasn't been like that.

I like to play with the "smoke." Feel it come into my mouth, watch it roll out, taste it, blow clouds, make smoke rings, fill up my beer glass with it. Sometimes I'll vape for quite a while without inhaling into my lungs at all.

I'm sure that nicotine absorption is a LOT different when I'm doing it one way, than another. No idea how much I absorb, of course, but I'd expect HOW you vape to have a big impact...

Best,
Ande
