Although I don't care for the Kylin too much, I'm stalking around the Tesla Nano Steampunk for quite a while now.
Besides the looks I really like the option of having a voltage booster.
What sets me a little bit off, is its weight.
So I'm a torn between the Tesla and the vaporesso Revenger, which in my opinion is a sleek looking device too.

Concerning weight it rivals a triple battery mod. For that it is very substantial in my opinion. But if it had less weight, it would be an absolute no-brainer for me, because of the the looks, its booster and the absolutely amazing 510.
And the Kylin is by no means a bad tank. I vaped it and it performs really nice. It's just so, that it doesn't perform any better for me than some of the other tanks I own, so I wasn't keen on getting one for myself.

But in the end the only thing that matters is, that you like your setup.

i'm really liking the kylin (though the gold is a bit over the top). airflow is great and refilling simple.

I am a steampunk lover too. It's a great mod. It's definitely substantial, but it fits well in the hand. I actually like the heft of mine (though I'm sold on the other features too and it's a fantastic vape) I'm less likely to drop it or tip it over that way. I do have other, lighter mods, but my love for the steampunk is pretty consistent. It's in my daily lineup at all times, LOL. I loved it so much I immediately got a backup for when mine dies.

And, the price has gone down quite a bit, making it a very affordable mod. I'd say to get one, if you are hesitating. It's really great, and for the cost, you just can't go wrong. It is one smooth vape. I run it with MTL tanks though, so I don't really use high wattages or anything.... I just love it though. To be fair the battery door is a con, (it *can* pop open unexpectedly which is why I got a sleeve. Lots of folks don't have a problem with the door, though, or use a tiny piece of electrical or even clear tape. That's the one con in my opinion.....

yup...loving the steampunk. using more than my usual 40-ish W...currently at 55W with a baby beast...and it just keeps on going. i'd say the cells are lasting at least 33% longer. it fires up immediately and in a very satisfying manner. i know that somewhere down the line i'll pick up another...maybe the brass one :p
incoming tanks are both from smok as i mentioned...a TFV8 6ml Sub ohm cloud beast (comes with an RDA deck too) and a TF-RTA G4 (4 coils, crikey!).

liking the kylin a bit less as it leaked an entire tank of juice...not sure how. think i'll go back to the avocado 24 for out and about. also, shoved the baby beast on the tesla for a bit and it didn't disappoint one bit. quite the best mod i've owned.
How you wickin the Kylin? I had slight leaking issues in the beginning. I've had much luck cutting the wicks short so they sit on top (covering the juice troughs) with the ends slightly dangling down.

looks good. How's she vape with single coil? I would think airflow could overwhelm... I rebuilt last night to suit my parallel box and was thinkin bout a single, large ID coil... like 5mm large.

it's working well with the single coil...for me at least. airy but not overly so. 5mm, eh? go for it! never tried above 3.5.
