Hey guys,
Certainly not the right thread for this question, but here it is. Hi to all the fellow vapers!
So i got a vamo5 kit off of myepack, which came with 1x Efest 18650, 1x Efest 18350 and a nitecore i2 charger.
Here's my problem, the charger (or at least I think so) is only charging the batteries to 3.36v before stopping. vaping on the two batteries was great and lasted a good day or two, so I decided they needed a charge. Whacked them on, and within 30 minutes the charger had gone from the customary 'progress blinker' to saying that they were fully charged. I couldn't believe how quickly they had charged. I put them on the vamo, checked the voltage, and they read out 3.4v, a far cry from the 3.7v I was expecting. I double checked the battery with a multimeter, and again 3.36v (I assume the vamo rounded up). So at the moment, I can only get about 30 minutes use from the vamo before having to recharge the battery. I imagine wasting the cycles is going to ruin the battery. I've ordered a PILA, and 2x Panasonic 18650s. Let's hope it's not the vamo that's the issue, and it is the charger, as then i'll have a nice collection of batteries.
Any thoughts from anyone? Anyone have the same issues?
Regards
