Well, I'm sitting here vaping the new Sundance V2 . . . :vapor::vapor::vapor:

It's Yummy!!

Now for the real question: What the heck IS it? I've seen people ascribe pineapple, orange and various other citrusy tastes to it; I see where they're getting that. The thing is, I know what it's actually supposed to be, and "citrusy" ain't it! (I could tell you, but I'm sworn to secrecy. ;-))

Similar to Bounty Hunter, at 12mg and 4.2v it has a very polite TH (which I like), and lots of vapor volume. It is far less sweet than BH, while still producing a luscious vanilla-pastry flavor. The top note however is, I swear, a faint orange icing!

To me, Sundance V2 tastes just like Pillsbury's Orange Rolls when they are warm out of the oven and the orange icing has just "soaked" in. :drool: Trust me, that's a GOOD thing! :)

I believe that those rare birds who find Bounty Hunter a bit too sweet for their tastes might just love Sundance V2.

Try some as soon as you can!

Eleanor (or anyone else who might know),

In May 2011, I ordered a 10ml bottle of the original, first version of Sundance. That was early on in NiteLiteVapor's existence. As word spread throughout the summer about NiteLite on ECF, there was much discussion here about Gene's juices---his "original" line-up, which included Bounty Hunter, Capparillo Caffe Latte, U.S. Marshal, Gold Rush, Saddle Up!, Sundance, and Renegade RY4. I can't remember whether Line Rider and Vanilla Strait were among that first bunch or added later.

With regard to Sundance, some posters liked the original version, but many felt that it was too strong/bold/in-your-face for their liking, with which I agreed. The intense flavor profile of the original Sundance recipe was too much for me, diminishing my enjoyment. It seemed to me a juice that would benefit from less boldness and more subtlety. As always, Gene was very attentive to his customers' wishes.

In July, Gene included in my second order a free sample 10ml bottle of what was labeled "Sundance LITE," which was the revised, "toned down" formulation of Sundance. Essentially the same flavors, but less over-the-top. Neither version was among my favorite NLV juices, so it wasn't a juice I vaped much. Thus, I still have both bottles and most of the juice. At some point last fall, I combined them into a single larger bottle and put the Sundance LITE label on it.

Is what you're calling the "new" Sundance V2 the same juice as the older second version, Sundance LITE? I just looked on the site, hoping that would answer my question, but Sundance isn't available right now, so I'm asking here, in case you or someone else knows for sure.

No, Bill -- the Sundance V2 is a whole new juice! (I know it's confusing, given Sundance's history -- I'm not sure why Gene sticks with that name, unless he just really really likes it :D.)

I got a bottle of Sundance LITE with my first (I think) NLV order, and was completely unimpressed. It wasn't bad, it just didn't grab me.

THIS Sundance (V2) is quite different, and very much "grabs" me! :)

EDIT: It occurs to me that I may have received a "pre-release" bottle -- I know it isn't on the site now (and Gene is closed for inventory), but I also don't recall seeing it back when everything was last in stock.

Oh well. It is being added to the regular line-up. I hope I cause a stampede for it when NLV is back and fully stocked! :p

Oh, darn it Gene, now I have another favorite. I'm just trying SunDance V2 for the first time. It is like a drop of sun! Dancing!!! How delightful. Maybe a little banana-ish, a tiny drop of cinnamon and a little orange added to Bounty Hunter or Renegade. Can't quite put my finger on it, but it is delicious. I am using a fresh i06 atty to taste it and will go fill up a carto for sure!
