This article might have been posted before here but looking at the reply from ... does make my blood boil.

A half filled cup can be either look as half full or half empty. Since there is also no conclusive evidence to demonstrate its harmfulness or ineffectiveness, why is it ban? What happened to the freedom of choice in a democratic society?

Why are e-cigarettes banned under the tobacco act? Is this the tabacco act or the smoking act?

Even though I'm against the banning of vaping product over here, I've recently noticed a disturbing number of secondary school students vaping.

These students will only harm our cause.

And it's either they are members here, or some monkey ah beng wanna be is here and peddling it to them.....
Can't blame them, ya know...? Who's the vice leader for them here? *looks around*

As much as i am against school kids starting to vape, i feel at least they are doing less harm than to start smoking analogs. I think we have all passed through the phase, that as a teenager, there is somehow the curiosity to try things out.

I started smoking when i was 14, and because there weren't any vaping items, got hooked to it for the next 20 over years. If there had been vaping items, most probably i would have gone through it for awhile and get bored with it.

Some people might say that vaping would lead to smoking but if there is enough education on the benefits of vaping over smoking analogs, i doubt anyone would want to go to analogs, when given a choice.

I agree with you but it's not how we see it. It's how the government sees it and use it as a justification to continue with the ban.

I was once fined and deducted points for driving across the double white line while trying to exit a highway. however the condition of the traffic and road design simply doesnt make sense to have double white lines there and cause a big jam.

I realised a week after I got fine that they changed the double white line to single dotted line that allows the cars to cut in.

When I wrote to appeal and explain the whole situation, the reply was simply there was a double white line at the point that I was caught. In another word, law is law and it doesnt matter that they know its senseless and rectified the situation.

I simply feel that we are in the same situation now.

Let us be clear as I am a dumb American.
By secondary school you mean 'High School' and children in the under 18 age group for the most part.

If this product is available to them then we need to squash it. HARD.
Or it will rightfully result in hardship for all responsible ADULT users.

NO NICOTINE PRODUCTS SOLD TO THE UNDER 18 AGE GROUP.
