No craving at all? Really?

So far (and it being 10 PM anything I get now is manageable), this is the first day I've had absolutely no craving at all for a cigarette. It only took me seven and a half weeks to get to this point.

This is also the first day that vaping has been completely and utterly satisfying for me.

Yesterday wasn't bad either, with only one minor craving that was easy to sweep aside.

So if you still have those awful impulses, take heart! They do seem to get considerably better over time.

I guess we're all different. I was lucky in that it stopped after a few days for me.

But there's so many possible variables that it will be very difficult to pinpoint why some of us find it so much easier.

One thing I've managed to work out, is that I'm only unsatisfied with poor vapour production. Nicotine levels, throat hit and duration never seem to matter as good as getting good consistent clouds of vapour. I think if you have a device and a liquid which produces good amounts you're more likepy to be satisfied.

Nice one Morpheus. I haven't craved a cig for a long time now. The day I realized that I hadn't just replaced smoking with vaping but that I preferred vaping over smoking was a very happy one for me. I haven't smoked since 4 days before I started vaping, but vaping made it a lot easier to get through those first few weeks when I did have cravings.

Way to go, Morpheus!

It took me a couple weeks as well. Finding the right gear, juice, heck even the right draw can be a bear. But after clearing those hurdles, I thoroughly enjoy vaping every single day. I could never say that about smoking. 25 years of wanting to quit, needing to quit, everyone asking me to quit...no more.

That's not to say I haven't had a smoke in the last few months. Everytime I come across someone smoking my particular brand of cloves, I feel a draw to try one again, and a couple times I have. And then I'm reminded in very short order the dozens of reasons I quit, most of all just how disgusting smoking can be.

So, congratulations! And welcome to the other side. :)

Good to hear. =)

Good for you! feels good to be a quitter hu! For me when I cant Vape I dont have those the same hard cravings as I did with cigarettes.

I agree. With cigs I had to smoke first thing in the morning or else, now it's a lot easier to put off vaping for a bit in the morning.
