Hi folks,

I'm new to the forum and to vaping in general. I was a pipe smoker for many years and decided to come to vaping with a Kamry K1000 which seemed to have good reviews.

However I'm finding there is no airflow and subsequently no draw from the pipe. I've used a basic Vivid vaporizer that I picked up in a local Asda and this works fine.

Looking at the base/bowl of the Kamry there are two little holes that I assume are to let air flow while inhaling, however there is no accompanying hole in the base where the clearomizer fits. It's completely blocked.

Should there be a hole here to let air come through the two holes underneath?

I sent it back to the Amazon seller who said it works as it should but lack of airflow makes the pipe useless.

As far as I know it's a legitimate pipe and not a knockoff, though I'm not sure if the presence of the validation code on the case means anything.

Has anyone else here used one and can confirm if there should be a hole in the fitting?

Hi. :)

Although I can't picture this exact scenario; it is possible that you had some sort of defect in the clearomiser connection. You wouldn't need holes in the bowl of the pipe (they'd be more likely for battery ventilation) but you would need to get some air through the 510 connection.

Are they refusing to refund? It should be obvious if the 'wrong' combination of tank and connection cuts off air flow. We've all had this at some point.
