Okay so I know this question has been beaten to death on this and every other forum, but I've got to ask. I'm not getting any flavor out of my juice. I've got a nemesis mod with a 18650 efest battery, Stillare rda. I'm running dual coils at .8 ohms. Using regualar cotton balls from Walmart (not boiled). I've tried and tried to wick it differently and nothing seems to really get it right. I've tried tons of cotton down to hardly any cotton. I've tried rolling it and tried feeding it through and then flaring it out. I dont know if there's something I'm missing or not, or if yall can even help without actually being here with the mod. Could the cotton be the culprit? Or do you just not get the same crisp flavor from RDA's as you do from a tank? Thanks in advance and sorry again for beating this question down once again.

It sounds like your taste buds have gotten a little bit tired of it (aka olfactory fatigue!) After awhile, you can get so used to something that you'll cease to taste it any more- and vaping one flavor exclusively can do this.

Try switching to another flavor for a few days- that will help the most. If you don't want to wait a few days, then try eating something very strongly flavored, like a pepper or a pickle. That will help everything "reset" itself.

Hope this helps!

I think the pertinent information here is your oral surgery. You may still be having after effects of the medication used to numb your mouth for your Tonsillectomy. I'd say first, try just vapeing with unflavored juices for about a week more, and you might want to use only low nic levels as the throat hit might not be very good for your healing process. Second Drink lots of water or non irritating fluids to clean out the post surgery crud in the back of your throat. Third try high VG juices when you start getting your Taste back and maybe use slightly milder flavors to bring your taste buds back up to speed. Last thing. you may have lost some ability to differentiate some flavors, I know they tell you you don't need your tonsills but there has been some evidence that they do have an effect on taste receptors in the mouth. There is a theory that they were originally there to help us detect bitter or poss poisonous flavors as a protective mechanism. Good luck and I hope you are soon able to enjoy your Flavors again. :2c:

I can't help u with that unless u are using tapatalk. A couple things for you to check on your build are wicking and coil placement in relation to air holes in cap. Not familiar with stillare but have heard great things about it.

U want your coils placed as close to the air hole as possible without shorting on cap and vertically in line with hole. I have found with my builds that shorter wick tails seem to produce more flavor also. YMMV

Try pushing your coils as far away from posts as u can and keep area under coil open for airflow. I found this to be key for flavor at least on my setup. As u see I like to tilt my coils also. It helps me keep my tails shorter and allows me to rotate cap a little to adjust coil height for throat hit.

The stillare isn't great for flavor. As for the cotton you should boil the cotton because non organic cotton is bleached and you are inhaLing bleach fumes. Stop by cvs or any drug store and get a bag of organic cotton. Works perfect right out of the bag. If that doesn't work invest in a magma rda. Amazing flavor and easy to build.
