@Myk--My top cap does sit a little wonky on that Hydra. The Hydra doesn't win any beauty contests, that's for sure. And one of the Hydras that I picked up had a wick hole that had been drilled out defectively. I have never been successful in drilling out wick-holes yet :(

I live in a part of the states where the weather is really lousy at times. I commute an hour and some change one way to work. I keep my mods in this tall tupperware dish on the passenger seat (until i can find a mod holder for my car) One night I had to swerve to avoid being in a head-on collision. My mods went flying and I had an AgaT2. Thankfully, I wasn't hurt, and amazingly, the glass on the T2 did not break. But the top cap flew right off. Did not damage my setup, not that i would have cared.

I decided to find a gennie that was bulletproof. Tried Aga s with the press on caps. They fly off with a bump of a finger. Tried using bigger o rings, piece of thread where the o rings sit. Could not fix them so now they sit. But the Hydras were so easy to set up, because of the knurled nuts that the atty comes with. Alot easier than the T2, and those teeny nuts that are supplied with it.

In my truck I use my ashtray. In my roommate's I use a cup in the cup holder.

The AGA press on caps seem to be hit and miss. My TD cap is a pain to get off. One T2 is just right. The other was too loose even after tightening, but I haven't sent it flying yet just gets knocked off kilter here and there.
For the one you pictured (and the mini-DID clone) a problem I've had is when the cap gets a little tight screwing it off can twist the deck on the tank and then the whole build can be screwed.

I use magnification and tweezers in both hands so the nuts don't bother me.

Cup in the cup hole--What an AWESOME idea :D Ive got 'man hands' with big ol' hitchhiker thumbs. I sit cross-legged on the floor with paper towels spread out, because inevitably, i will drop a knurled nut. I am very careful when removing top caps on Dids and Hydras, and hold onto the knurling on the top deck before i do so.

I believe this is one of the root causes of people calling the Agas fiddly and in constant need of adjustments. And, of course... it's not "an Aga quirk". It's "gennies suck". ;)

I personally would never get rid of my gennys. I've had countless kayfuns/taifuns and just never really got on with them and sold them all. Two things that will never leave are the micro and mini mega. Simply awesome vape!
if your talking about hellfires they are pretty much seem to be considered the best....

Basically this all boils down to how the coil / wick setup is done in a Kayfun and for that matter a Taifun too.

IT'S the coil assembly that makes the difference. Some people are good at building them... some aren't.

I use a 1.8mm ID microcoil at 9/10 wraps of 28ga. Kanthal and cotton wick which gives me around a 1.4-1.5 ohm coil.
With a Kayfun it's really important to fan or spread out the wick at the bottom juice channels. My two Kayfun 3.1 ES clones and my two Taifun GT clones vape great.

No kidding...wow good to hear, but man from listening to alot of brits......saying what you said would get you skinned alive....I think most of them would trade there first born for a hellfire...anyway the peeked my intrest so if you ever wanna sell one give me a shout.
Hellfires are nice; although my vote goes for the Kraken.

I'd say my KFL gives a more "dense" flavor than my Agas, but it couldn't touch the Kraken or Svarog with a long stick.

I must say, tho... sticking a mesh wick in the KFL really woke it up. Now if someone can just come up with a pressure feeder built from scratch for mesh wicks... and the ability to access the wick without all the annoyance. And a glass tank (followed by an acronym that would be censored)

Both gennies and Russians are used in our home. My wife finds the Russians much easier to deal with so I use the gennies. Nothing is gathering dust for the moment. I'm sure as we get more of the Kayfun clones or Russians some of the gennies will be put on the bench, but never will get rid of them.
Still no word on who sells the Hellfire? I still can only find pics of them, no vendors. Just curious.
