I'm so glad the Reonauts have joined the 357 club! I wasn't convinced there was any reason an atty should cost $20 so I never even thought to try one, but thank goodness I won a 1.5 longbarrel at Vapercon! I friggin LOVE this thing! And to think, I almost traded it without even trying it! I was a devoted carto user until this. I just never had any luck with atties besides dripping for flavor tasting. Wow this thing made me a believer. It still hurts to pay so much, but man is it worth it! Anybody hesitant about this should just go for it. If you don't like it, I'm SURE you could sell it to one of us in the fan club, lol. Anywho, I can't wait for a VV woodvil so I can try some higher ohm 357s. I know 6 volts works already, but it'd be so nice to "dial in to taste". Oh boy!

They are super Atty's and I do enjoy them very much, however I have to say that $21 is way over priced in my honest opinion for these or any Atty. In reality it cant cost more then $2 to make an Atty, I've done some research on Atty's in my vaping time long ago and most recently and though these are super it is very hard for even I to justify buying these and I can buy pretty much whatever I want, they need to come down in price in my opinion and by a good bit. Again just my personal opinion

@ rstreet55,

Yes you can, what these are is basically a cisco spec 306 inside of a 510 (9mm) tube so the tube can take any 510 drip tip for the most part, and they have a wire mesh wrapped around the 306 ceramic cup. I agree they shouldn't be over $10. I dont mind someone making money, in fact I like to see that, and even with a new product, but this is a ridiculous price and taking advantage ! ( only my personal opinion )

I believe the main difference with the HH357 cost is that it's assembled by hand, in the US, by I believe, only one person (well the final assembly, anyways).

I doubt Hanna is making a killing by making them. In fact, when I spoke to him in person at a vape meet, he was pretty clear about this being almost more of a hobby, than something to pay the bills.

My main concern is that they won't be around forever, as he might lose interest in producing them.

Certainly if they were off an assembly line in China, I would fully agree.

I guess everyone has to weigh the price to pleasure ratio themselves. I'm glad I bought one, and if it lasts 1-2 months, I'll be more than OK with the cost. I found that I would toss out cartos about twice a week, maybe a bit less (but they also don't allow easy testing of new juices, so sometimes I would use one once, and toss it out an hour later). At $10 for a pack of dual coils, it's not that extreme of a difference.

I'm not trying to make a sales pitch or anything. I was pretty blown away by the price as well. But for the price of two packs of analogs, I can rationalize the purchase of a $20 atty. A few days of use makes up the investment cost for my old habit.

I didn't think they where still made by hand bladebarrier, not with the vat I saw of them at vapefest and by there new HH357 Logo on them now, I thought they where being produced at a factory now for sure, I could be wrong about this and if I am I see NO reason why they arent being made at a factory, none at all,,, whether it be in the USA or China. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to put an Atty together. Again just my own personal opinion.

Still hand made and everyone hand tested as far as I know.

Once you start making them in a factory quality would go down just like other attys IMO.

I'd rather pay the 22 bucks for ones that work perfect every time just my own personal opinion.

If you use that line of thinking there's no reason REOs couldn't be made in a factory as well and sold for say 75 bucks.
It doesn't take a rocket scientist to put together a PV either.
But C'mon which would you rather have ????

I pay for Robs handwork and craftsmenship knowing that each REO will work as I expect it to.
(Thank you Rob !!!)

And have no problem doing the same for someone that puts the same pride into making the best quality atomizer.

If you wan't an 8 dollar factory made atty their are plenty to choose from.

Honestly I don't see how they sell for 22 bucks being hand made and tested.

I can't imagine how many he cranks out and hour to be worth his time.
I hope he's at least making 60+ bucks an hour.

lets just say he makes 10 bucks per, he would have to build and test one every 10 min to clear 60 bucks an hour.
I have know idea whats involved, but I spent my life as a machine shop owner doing piece work and its tough.

Hanna Hadawar partnered with Cisco after interest in Hanna's atomizer mod started to gain momentum. Cisco provides the components and the sales outlet, and Hanna builds the atomizers. Shortly thereafter, Hanna quit his day job to focus on building the HH .357's to be sold through Cisco.

In my opinion, Hanna figured out how to greatly improve upon existing technology and is entitled to profit from it. I doubt he's counting on the current market for his attys to remain as it is today over the long haul. I also don't believe that the price per atty was set with any kind of price gouging in mind.

How much would you want to earn per hour to assemble and test atomizers for 6, 8, or 10 hour per day? That would get pretty tedious for me. On the other hand, I could do it from home in my underwear while listening to audiobooks, so maybe it wouldn't be so bad.

he seems like a pretty down to earth guy, not trying to get rich doing this. I love the fact that I can say with exception of batteries, my vaping habit supports american business. That said buying from resellers of chinese products still helps american small business, just doesn't help ensure the success of products made in america.

Sent from my Apple II. What?! I keeps it old school!

:-x*grumble, grumble, grumble* :grr: I may have just killed mine. :grr: Went into a store...left the mod in my console and something leaned against it firing the atty. While the mod is fine and the burn on my lip is minimal (metal drip tip)...it doesn't taste right :grr: I'm so ...... at myself right now. It is soaking in alcohol right now...and will have it flushed out in an hour or so....so we will see. Crossing my fingers that I can lose the pine cone taste and get back to the sweet vanillazxhavana gold I was vaping

Sidenote: So it was burning for about 10 minutes before I got to it. And I have to say that I'm super impressed that after it cooled down A) it still vapes just fine and B) the off flavor isn't that strong. I'm guessing it will clean up fine and I can get on with it.

If the alcohol doesn't work, you might try a steam clean (from the battery end) :)

Any luck with the recovery? Sorry to hear about your "incident". I'm curious how it turns out and thankful I haven't toasted mine yet. It sure can get hot though. It's so good I forget to take a break, lol.
