No more Prodigy V1 Switches?

I have been waiting for 2 months now to order a second resistered Prodigy V1 switch. I know there are always SERIOUS stock problems with PS, but this is out of control. Now, since the V2 is in the works and the old Prodigy is discontinued, I'm guessing I'll never be able to order it. If I am wrong, please let me know, but if I am right, that is very lame. I only bought my Prodigy in the beginning of Sept, and I feel like it is totally discontinued and unsupported with parts. The reason I got it in the first place is that you could do all the different configurations with it. I love it, but I kind of wish I hadn't bought it now.
There was like a day or 2 that there were unresistered switches in stock, and at least I got one of those, but it's broke now (sticking), so I guess I'll have to create a ticket and send it back for repair.

It's my understanding that PS got a bad run of switches (possibly) with the Protege release and new should be available in the next couple of weeks.

I agree it's aggravating to not be able to order parts for an existing machine while they're taking pre-orders for new releases.

They do need to step up and make parts available for existing customers / users.
I don't believe they're going to "stop" supplying parts for the original devices.
Just not sure when they're going to "Start"

I have been waitin to order one myself. If the case is as you say, no more V1 switches or parts, then I think PS should send out a V2 to everyone who ordered a V1 and is within their warranty period. I just purchased this thing a month ago, and I'll be quite ...... if I can't get parts for it for at least the ... year it is under warranty. Maybe that's why they aren't selling them? They are keeping them all for replacements for V1's under warranty? Maybe we just send the whole thing in for service/replacement every couple months for a year, then we get our money's worth?

Just to add, I have sent a half dozen people to the PS site in the last two weeks, and all of them come back to me and say, I cant order anything, it says cookies not enabled when I try to add anything to the cart, etc etc. I build and service PC's, and I know a thing or two about cookies, I go to the site and try to put a prodigy in my cart, it says need cookies enabled! Now I realize it is not available, but having the site tell you it isn't working because of cookies?? I may need to change my sig and send people elsewhere, I'm getting a bad rep here.

I've never gotten the cookie error? I would have eaten it )

PS is a small company going through growing pains because they produce a nice piece of equipment. Everybody wants one and they want it now!!!
People scrambling around for parts to keep everybody happy, trying to fill orders, pick up pieces, take care of warranty items, order more stuff, run to the post office ... sheeeeesh..... makes me tired just thinking about it.

I know they'll get caught up soon and everything will be right again in the land of vape.

It's just the normal problems associated with getting custom stuff from a small start up company. Happens in every market from RC Helicopters to Jeeps.

Steve and I posted several times last week that we WILL be carrying V1 switches and adapters. The switches were ordered a few weeks ago, are still in the shop in production, and are expected in in the next week or two.

That's good news Casey, cause mine just died. Volts = 0.0 at the adapter, with freshly-cleaned contacts and both batteries reading 3.6V.

My Prodigy is still under warranty... do I need to send you the old switch in order to get the replacement? Should I also include the original order number?

Max -- Email Casey at info@puresmoker.com and she'll take care of you.

Prodigy Switches are being made as we speak. YES, I requested more quite a while ago, but when you are running out pieces at 1,000/each, machining time is hard to come by.

Hoping to have both regulated and unregulated (3.7v/5v/6v) switches available early next week (hoping for Tuesday -- Wednesday at the latest)

I totally agree. Thinking of removing my banner as well.

Geez guys, lighten up. It's a two man show here. Both Steve and Casey do a wonderful job taking that into consideration. They are online day and night, sometime at 2-3am helping people on the forums and answering tickets. Cut them a little slack, they'll get these items stocked just like they said they would. I highly doubt PS will leave their Prodigy V1 owners high and dry...
