Hi folks! Quite new to vaping, in fact I just found out about e-cigs about 3 months ago and since google always seems to lead me back here I decided to register so I could ask countless noob questions, lol. Scanning through allot of different posts has got me this far but every answer I find seems to lead to several more questions, anyways, here's a bit about my journey into vaping thus far. I live in Canada so I started with a nicotine free NV starter kit from a local drug store(best I could do since I had never made an online purchase before, lol), I found that I liked it but it didn't give me the addictive drug I seem to crave. It did however cut down my analog consumption enough to pay for itself and I had to start somewhere. After several weeks with the NV kit I decided to upgrade to the Joye 510 kit and found myself some decent 16mg e-juice from GRBC and I gotta say I really like the fact we get to choose between so many flavours with the option to DIY. Now my nic need is satisfied but I find I'm burning thru the two Joye batteries and the NV(which I've refilled with my new e-juice)about 3/4 way thru my day and i'm back to the analogs. I know I could buy the charger pack and likely get through a whole 12 hour work day but like my Granny always said "Go big or go home!". So last week I ordered a silver bullet w/dct-v1 tank that should be in by monday, I'm positive that once it does get here I'll be able to toss out the stink sticks for good but I'm sure I'll have a few questions I'll need answers to before I can get my pv setup working right. Well I guess that's almost my whole vaping story up to this point, so if any of you have any advice about 3.7v-6v pv's, the SB, tanks, carts(ordered 1.5LR dcc and 2.5ohm dcc) pretty much anything that you think I might need to know it will be greatly appreciated. Just like to say thanks in advance and I'm super stoked to be posting in my very first forum on anything, ever! lol.
Oh and thanks for all the info I've already found here!

Troy:)

Welcome to ECF! With the SB, your PV needs should be well satisfied for a while. There are tons of choices for juice delivery systems, as you probably know. They all have their relative advantages and disadvantages. Some people like one thing and other like something else. You'll never really know the merits of something unless you know something about what you want, do some research here, and then give it a try.

Hi Troy
I'm kind of new at this myself and still learning, but this week I'll be four months free from cigarettes after 40+ years of smoking. Even with the expense of all the new toys I have purchased I have spent less than half of what I was spending on tobacco, and am enjoying vaping more. Good luck with your new setup - James

Hello and welcome Troy. I have a purple SB and I absolutely LOVE mine! Very solid and well made. Has a nice smooth feel, and I love the recessed button. I fully plan to purchase another in green or pink. My husband also has one and loves it as well. Very nice purchase, hope you enjoy it as much as we enjoy ours :)

Welcome to these wonderful forums Troy! I'm a noob as well, but have been analog free for 18 days! No going back, it's wonderful to be able to taste and smell again! Who knew analogs smelled so horrible! Anyway, I too have two Silver Bullets and love them. I just recently acquired a kick, but had been using LR atomizers before that. They seemed to work great for me.

I honestly haven't tried cartomizers yet, although I have about 40 of them stockpiled :) Have a Phiniac tank to try as well, but dripping has been working fine for me so far.

Anyway, I think you're going to love your Silver Bullet! I know I do! Once again, welcome, and good luck!

Nicely done James, congratz on the smoke free! That's my goal as well after smoking for close to 20 years and I realized that I'm spending well over $300/month on tobacco to slowly kill myself, so why not spend a months worth on some mods since the kits I've got so far just don't quite cut it. In my mind If the mod I ordered keeps me from buying analog's for even 3 weeks its paid for itself, lol

Awesome! glad to hear that others like and enjoy the SB, I ordered it because I'm a tradesman and I needed something durable to get thru the day if I'm gonna make vaping work for me. Out of curiosity Cherryblossom do you and your husband run them at 3.7v or higher?

Awesome! that's 18 days more than me. I have a constant reminder of how bad they smell though, she's 5 years old, cute as a button and is also the one that labelled my smokes as "stink sticks", lol. Please let me know how the kick and the Phiniac tank works for you, I've been looking at buying both, Phiniac is the main reason I ordered the dct-v1 tanks I have coming in. I really want to set myself up so that i'm only refilling juice/batteries a few times per week, the Joye 510 I have now requires multiple daily charges and constant dripping to get it to work well and who has the time, lol

ALRIGHT! WTG!! If you spent over $300/month on analogs, you're basically like me. I spent right at $350 a month. That leaves me pretty open to buy whatever I want for vaping! lol! And so far...knock on wood...I've not spent that much any given month since I switched to vaping. I have a Provari and I have 2 Phiniac tanks so far. They are doing very very well, and I'm really happy with them. I think you'd like them and they'd look great on your SB. Welcome to ECF!

Thanks for all the support guys, I love this forum. I've been over heating my laptop the last few days doing research/shopping and I think my credit cards been getting a little warm too(still spent less then I've saved and I may just live longer for it, priceless!), lol. Just heard back from Chris at Phiniac and the tank I ordered with my name on it is ready to ship so with luck I could see it by the end of the week(YAY!). I got more juice already on the way from Daniel over at GRBC, I'm realy looking forward to trying as well. But I'm still trying to figure out if I'm satisfied with the vape I'm getting from these 1.5ohm dcc(glad I included them in my order). The 2.5ohm dcc that came with my Kit just don't perform well at all and have me thinking I need to get some crc123a's for 5.5-6v in the SB in order to use them, I'm certain I want a kick when more stock becomes available again though. Hoping that with a kick I would be able to get the vape I crave without going to HV batteries, maybe someone can tell me which carts I should be looking at for 3.7v and a tall boy Phiniac tank. Even this new to vaping I know what my needs are... I like blowing smoke rings so massive clouds of vapor are more important to me the anything else, lol. Well anyway you slice it I'm certain that I've smoked my last stink stick and I couldn't be happier! I'd like to Thank everyone for all the help, whether it be a supportive comment or an informative tip, You all rock! now go ahead and pat yourselves on the back for me, I'd do it myself if I could, lol:)

We're both very happy with ours at 3.7v. We're currently using Boge 2.0's and Phiniac or Bella tanks. I did just pick up a Lavatube to play around with, and my DH is talking about picking something up for VV also. It's always fun to test different things out, but for us, it's really more curiosity than need. I think we will always pick up new things to try. We get a very satisfying vape from our SB set-ups though. I have absolutely no doubt that my SB will always be my go-to. It has that solid, smooth, last-forever feel to it. It's one of those *pry-it-from-my-cold-dead-hands* things, because I have no intention of every handing mine over willingly! :D
