It doesn't happen all the time and haven't quite figured out under what conditions but when originating a PM I have no paragraphing - hit 'enter' and nothing happens. This has happened in replying to PM's as well but not all. Sometimes I edit out earlier replies to condense but on originating a PM just now with no replies, etc. the paragraphing didn't work. In fact, it isn't working on this reply... (I hit enter here and nothing happens).... so it isn't just PM's.... Earlier, I replied to a PM and all was ok. So something's up. Anyone else having the problem or is it just me. (attempts new paragraph...no go). Any suggestions??

Thanks st**rry for chiming in..... For me, it just started after the constant "logging off" episodes here. You too?

Yeah it actually happened today, so that is why it was fresh in my mind. It's also happened when replying to a post on the main forum when I use the reply with quote feature. It won't let me use the enter button but that's not all the time either, maybe connected?

Not sure...( see right now it was ok  )

Working for me here but just didn't right before coming here in a PM?? Sounds like exactly the same for us. I thought it was that I edit the quotes but I've tried that and it works sometimes and doesn't on other occasions. I'm going to experiment

strange - because you just recently ran into that problem or did i misunderstand?

it looks like ecf is running vBulletin 4.2.0 and apparently all versions since 4.1.4 are affected. vb finally fixed the problem with VB 4.2.1 or above. so, if it is ie10 related, why was it working for you in the past?

If you're talking to me, it started right after the update here. I don't know when ie10 was installed - I was in 'auto update' (no longer ;-) ) I'm back in ie9 now....

See?

I'll try a PM but pretty sure this will work....

eta: PM works now too....

IF you have Win 8 then IE10 is wedded to it and you won't be able to uninstall ie10 but there's a fix for Win 8 as well on the MS site - just didn't apply to me - I'm running Win 7 Professional.
