No Rum

A relative newb here looking for some advice from the connoisseurs. Tasted some Ecblend 'Rum Soaked Raisin' a while back, thought it was not bad and decided to order a 50ml. It has just arrived and it just tastes like bubblegum, something like blueberry does but without the blueberry, nary a hint of rum. I also received some samples including 'Buttered Keoke Rum Coffee' which has a very strong rum-like taste. I ordered this about 2 1/2 weeks ago (Australia) so I would imagine it has already had some steeping time, I also gave the bottle a half decent shake. Is that how it tastes, does it need further steeping, did somebody forget to put the rum in, or none of the above ?

Could be they just screwed up and the bubblegum you got is actually... bubblegum. Have you contacted them about it yet?

Not as yet, not sure if it's worthwhile given return shipping costs etc. Might just try and throw some coffee flavor or something else in it.

CONTACT THEM ......... they will make it right. Be sure to tell them you liked the first batch; the second not so much. Silence will resolve nothing.
