No Shave November - Movember is upon us! Save our MEN

Alright guys, this isn't entirely vaping related, but it's important. and length. scroll down if you're a lazy one :)

This is my first time doing this and I'm really hoping that the vape fam here will be supportive!

Did you know that around 1 in 7 men in the US will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in their lifetime?

I'm sure most of you answered 'no' to that question. But now that you know, do you feel at risk? Now think about 6 of your closest male friends and men in your family. Statistically speaking, 1 of you will get prostate cancer. Not a fun thought, is it? God forbid that any of you fine gentlemen ever get it, but this brings me to the point of this post.

I'd like to enlist everyone here to participate in Movember

Movember is the global men’s health charity where men grow and women support the moustache during November. Participation begins once you sign up and become part of the official movement to change the face of men’s health. Movember is about bringing back the moustache (Mo), having fun, creating conversations and awareness, and raising funds for men's health, specifically prostate cancer, testicular cancer and mental health problems.

Basically, you grow and groom and moustache for the entire month of Movember (also known as November). Your new grown facial hair serves as a conversation starter to spark awareness and raise funds for testicular and prostate cancer, along with mens' mental health.

Considering the electronic cigarette industry is male dominated, I want to use the powers of social media and word of mouth to get the vape community involved to join the Movember TEAM I've created called Mo Bros & Ohms (lol) (in case you haven't caught on, 'mo' is short for 'moustache'). From an outsider perspective, our participation will foster the impression that the vape community is supportive of important issues outside of the ecig world; that we are sensitive to matters that affect family, friends, and ourselves because no one is exempt from sickness. We are all at risk and awareness begins here. Growing a moustache and raising funds and awareness is the easiest thing to do. Even $1 means something.

Are you interested in this movement? Please sign up! Even just 2 or 3 participants would be better than none.

Sign up here: https://www.movember.com/us/register/
Make sure you select 'Join a Team: Mo Bros & Ohms'

If you're not participating (either because you're lame or because it's physically impossible for you to grow a moustache), I still invite you to support our team Mo Bros & Ohms by donating or getting your friends and family to join our team!

tl;dr: 1) Join Mo Bros & Ohms 2) Grow a moustache/ Shave off and regrow a moustache to spark awareness and raise funds among your peers about testicular cancer, prostate cancer, and men's health 3) Save our men

What do you guys think? I think it's a great movement. Vaping = healthier lifestyle, Movember = support of men's health

I haven't owned a razor since about 1979, so nobody would notice. I like your thinking though! Thanks.

Haha! Quite the bearded one eh? The point is to start Nov. 1 with a clean, shaven face! The curiosity from your new naked face is what would definitely spark conversation- that's where you take a hold of it and spread awareness of movember and the need to donate and join the movement!

The rules are strict this year about Movember and growing a stash only.

So many people do no shave November that the Mo Bro is obligated to grow only a stash. I am a third year Mo bro and am going handle bars again this year. I am going to sneak a little soul patch though. Grow the Mo my Bros and props to all the Mo Sistas that support the Bros!

Oh and Reign, just wait, I will post pics and you will see scary my friend. My 13yo and 16yo sons are joining me. They are very hairy! Now that I think about it I did have a Mo in the 5th grade.

Yeah I was just reading the rules, so I have decided on handlebars as well. But if I am going to do it, going to do it right.
