So the week's not over but it is over, right?

Nope, it's not. LMAO We are, however, down TWO pair of hands the next two days... both Katy and I will be in production so it might be a stretch... just Me, Katy, and Beau until Monday. LMAO Can this week be over, please? ;)

"Production" does have a certain ring to it. :)

No worries brother, the family will survive. Do what you have to do, re-charge those batteries over the weekend and give'em hell next week!...;)

I know all too well what its like to lose or be down a team member. I get a new apprentice assigned to my watch every six months. About the time I get them up to speed and trained, they rotate out to their next assignment. Still haven't become completely comfortable with it after all the years. The bright side is that sometimes, once they turn out, I get them back to stay for good. Right now I am down one of my best people due to a busted finger. Been having to use overtime call outs to cover every shift for the past month.

Note to potential employees - being perpetually late is not good for job security.

That drives me nuts. I've had to be here every day on time since since 2008 when we started the place and don't have the luxury of going home when everyone else does.

The new logo in your avatar is outstanding. I was hoping this was the direction things were headed.

But, they're entitled to come in when they want. . .

In my profession, if you are late you are considered to be AWOL. I am a quite tolerant leader as I realize that occasional situations do arise. However, I tend to get jaws on me when one takes advantage of my good nature. When one is habitually late it takes an effect on the entire crew. I had a situation some years ago with an apprentice that just couldn't seem to understand this after numerous what I call "Come to Jesus" meetings. The straw that broke the camel's back for me was when after using the excuse that his car broke down a number of times and while confronting him about this yet once again, He had the balls to turn to me and say " I wasn't late, the cab driver was late!" Needless to say, his career in water treatment for the City and County of San Francisco was washed out right there.
