What are the best flavors to use to eliminate or reduce steep time.

I want to add flavor to some of my existing juice but don't want to wait a month to see how it turned out...

I currently have several bottles from DIY One Stop shop on the way in several of the brands they carry. The closest I have come to DIY yet is just mixing a couple of juices but I have noticed several juices I have bought don't taste the same order to order.

To me steeping is a lot of nonsense personally, sure the juice molecules come together better in a week but if it isnt liked by then I'm never gonna like it, just add flavor till you like it and only do a little at a time. I have never mixed or purchased a juice that I didnt like that when I broke it out 3 months later I fell in love with it. Just my own opinion of course, but you may want to take a little of your juice and just add the flavoring you know you like and flavor it up to your likings and shake and vape !

I agree. I haven't found a single control study that provides factual evidence the ejuice is different after a month of sitting on a shelf. I think it got started by someone associating it with alcohol aging...wine, bourbon, etc. The difference is the wine is interacting with the wood barrel while ejuice isn't interacting with anything. I mix mine REALLY well using one of these

If the ejuice were cream, I'd make butter.
A day...a week...a month; all have the same flavor.

If you are using tobacco tasting flavorings, it is best to let it steep for a week or two, It makes a world of difference. The color of the juice also changes.
What you can do to speed the steeping process up, is hold the bottle with the juice under warm water for a while, the put it away for a week or so.
Fruit flavors really do not need to steep.
I made a bunch, now they are sitting and steeping, for me to use them later on.
A little planning goes a long way.
Good luck!

This is good to know. I was thinking it would have something to do with oxidation. But now I know I can mix to taste and I should be good to go.

I agree with everyone else, not one flavor I have let "steep" got to the point I wanted to vape it. I have a PG allergy and have only found 3 flavors I like one of which I had allergic reactions to due to PG in the flavoring. So now all I vape is Cinnamon Red Hots and menthol DIY. I just tried again with a flavor order and found I liked none of the 12 flavors as well as my daily vapes.

The tobacco taste gets more refined, if you will, after it steeps.
It's smoother and plain better tasting.
That's my opinion after vaping juice I made right away, and then tasting the difference after the juice has steeped for at least two weeks.

I make enough juice for one week, set it a side, I do that every week, and put the date on the bottle.
I have 3 of 4 different batches waiting right now to be steeped.
Right now I'm vaping juice I made about 4 weeks ago.

Just about any flavoring other than tobacco will be ready to go in about 24 hrs.

A recipe which uses multiple flavors (no tobacco) takes about 3 days to reach full flavor.

And for the anti-steepers: I have a favorite recipe with a tobacco base which takes a full two months before it reaches the peak of its flavor. Wish it didn't take that long, but it's worth waiting for.

... I don't have a recipe that takes that long but Backwoods Brew Honey Flue does take 6-8 weeks for it to deliver its full bouquet.

Well this all brings me back to my original question. Which flavors or brands would be best for mix and vape?

It appears the consensus is to mix fruit flavors and stay away from tobacco flavor.

A good place to buy flavorings from all companies except Capella is Brand name e cigs and e cig liquid from ecigexpress.com. I placed three different orders with them and their shipments arrived freakishly fast from Washington state to Delaware.

It must be a real good recipe if your willing to wait 2 months to vape it. Care to share that recipe?
