I have been buying juice at a good local shop. What is happening is that I try the juice in the shop using their mod, and the flavor is rich and smooth. Then I buy the juice and put in my mod when I get home. No flavor. I don't get it. I use a Joytech mod with an Aspire Triton tank. I vape at 38 W. Even put in a new coil.
Menthol is the only flavor that works.

My B&M's samplers have usually been sitting around for awhile, and then they grab a 'fresh' bottle of whatever flavor I want. The fresh stuff often doesn't have much flavor, and therefore needs some time to "steep" to achieve full maturity (god, I sound like a wine snob!) So I usually keep it in a cabinet for a week or two (or three) to "age" it some.

Otherwise, have you tried changing coils and fiddling with wattage and airflow on your device?

They probably use a CE4 with an eGo battery for customers to sample their liquids. Those run at a much lower wattage than your mod, and the coil in theirs is probably close to 2 ohms resistance. You might be a sub-ohmer since you're running at 38 watts. Your coil is most probably below 1 ohm.

Different types of juice attachments will vary in how much flavor and vapor is produced. Differences in wick type used (cotton, rayon, silica), resistance (standard or sub-ohm) and coil types, and wattage used to power the coil(s).

When visiting a sampling bar, I try to use my personal drip setup to sample the flavors. That way I am pretty much assured that what I taste at the bar I will taste at home.

    Should I try a 1.8 ohm coil ?

Well, the SXK Wine and the Kayfun v3 are bothe highly regarded, modern MTL tanks, and they're both available really cheap - around USD$12 each for an original Wine and a decent clone of the KF v3.
