Happy Friday ladies! Finally!!!
I'm particularly happy because they totally missed our forecast! Well, last night was a horrendous drive home for tons of people. The roads were covered with a frozen mess of snow and sleet. I've heard stories of 20 min commutes taking 4 hours. Fortunately DH and DS both made it home OK, although DS had quite a drive! But....we did NOT get 6 inches of snow! And now the roads are mostly clear and dry! I don't know where that inch of frozen slush went overnight. The temp here was 28 when I got up. But it's gone and I'm not complaining! We have about an inch of snow on the grass. Hopefully the sun and 38 degree temp will get rid of that today, and we can still play golf this weekend! Weeeee!

That is what happened around here about a week ago, and we didn't get as much sleet/ice and many around us. Don't know why we were so lucky, but I sure didn't complain!
Well, apparently we were in a dry pocket. Parts of Roanoke got up to 10 inches! No golf this weekend. This is the picture posted on the golf course's web site
That's a great idea, JJ. That picture was taken on the driving range. We could make snowmen until all the snow is gone, then we could at least hit range balls, LOL.
Unfortunately, DH came home this afternoon with the cold I've been struggling with since Wednesday. And I'm not feeling great yet either. I think we'll be spending the weekend at home nursing our colds!

I have had a busy couple of days and it wasn't work related....WOW! The oldest son and family moved back here so we have been helping them unload and get stuff in the house. I am tired......should sleep good tonight!!!

Fudgey, at least it wasn't work that kept you busy. Maybe your son can help your DH build the extra bathroom this weekend.

Now CES that would be very nice. Have a funny feeling son will be unpacking and setting up new house.

Back home tonight. The wedding was great! Everyone had such a good time!! Now, to offload camera cards and sort pictures, and get some sleep!!
