What day is it! I'm so lost! I totally missed hump day.
Last night I went into my laundry room before going to be, and there was water all over the floor, coming from the water heater. That was at 10 o'clock. I finally got to sleep at 1 am, and woke up at 5 and couldn't get back to sleep. Plumber is here now installing a new water heater.
I'm tired.
But anyway, good morning ladies! Happy Thursday!

We are having a goodbye luncheon here at work for one of our admin assistants, so it will be a nice break mid-day, and then I move to my new office, so good-bye rest of the afternoon!!
Water heater is installed, plumber is gone, back to work.

I've had a water heater go out but it just stopped working.
Never had it leak and make a river that has to be cleaned up.

Apparently it's common for them to rust out on the bottom. I'm sure glad it's in the basement right next to a floor drain! Also, it's recommended that you flush them out at least once a year. Oops!
We have really hard water so ours usually just quits and about every ten years. 
I dug out the receipt for the one we just replaced, it was from 1996! We have hard water too. I was surprised it lasted that long!
The thing that ticks me off is we have really high water rates around here because they say they have to remove a lot of the stuff that makes the water hard.

Well that sucks! A lot of people around here have installed water softeners. We just deal with the mineral buildup on everything our water touches
Some do that here to.
We don't have the room for one unless we put it in the crawl space and that means crawling down there to put salt in it.

Hi!! I have had a little thing going here where people know I vape,and its a tight little military neighborhood so people are always asking me to help them quit. Its pretty cool and it keeps me busy and amused but I was running low on supplies and almost ready to quit. I posted a thing in the PIF FB group and asked if anyone had spare chargers for an 808 or ego because I had batts to share but no chargers to go with them and I got like 3 replies. PEEPs from here is my friend and she offered me some 808 stuff and another friend Ive met recently is going to send a few egos with a charger and some DIY juices. Sooo looks like Im still going and can keep sharing with newbies. Im always so amazed at the people in our community. Its just awesome. I have 2 people set up to come over next week for stuff already! AMAZING!
we bring out the tea set....sometimes the really frilly one, and start talking about shopping

It's so cold and windy here today, I can't believe it was 73 degrees just 3 days ago! Now it's 23 with a wind chill of 8!
