CES, I sure hope our stores haven't been cleaned out yet! DH just reminded me I need to fill up the gas tank in the car too. My quick trip is turning into an all-morning excursion!

Stay safe out there Catmom. I'm lucky, i filled up my tank over the weekend, and had already gone to the store. I thought about stopping at the store on the way home yesterday, since it's almost required before a storm here, but since i really didn't need anything i talked myself out of it. I am keeping all my batteries well and truly charged, just in case the ice gets bad.

Oh, batteries! I need to check my battery supply. Thanks! I'm just praying we don't lose power because that would mean losing heat. There are 9 living creatures in this house, and none of us like cold!

I actually shopped last Friday because we were supposed to get snow over the weekend. If I'd known what was coming, I would have bought a month's worth of everything and been done with it! LOL

Did you mean PV batteries? Yeah, I'd better charge the one I'm using and switch to the other one, and make sure all my backups are charged too. Although I don't think it would really bother me if I couldn't vape. I didn't vape at all the week my husband was in GA. But he'll be home smoking, and I sure don't want to be tempted to have a cigarette because we're freezing and the cats are trying to start a fire with the furniture to keep warm!

I have no idea what it's going to do here. We're under a winter storm warning for the next 36 hours...but the forecast is a mess. I'm hoping we don't get enough ice to lose power, but if we do, i'll spend the time under the covers.

I normally love winter and moderate snow, but this season has been ridiculous! Fingers crossed you don't lose power.

i think we'll be ok for today- we're hovering right around freezing. The roads near and south of me are clear. Just have to see what happens in the next few hours, and tonight, and tomorrow, and tomorrow night.

Been cold all day here. High of 19 and it's already dropping to 12.

Our morning started off all grey and gloomy but the sun finally showed up this afternoon, bringing our temps up to the low 20's. This is the warmest it's been here in what feels like forever! The forecast is teasing us with temps in the high 40's late in the week, I feel like I need to bring out the flipflops to celebrate! LOL.
