We're supposed to have rain today. I hope so, it's been almost two weeks since we had any rain at all. I'd actually planned to mow this weekend, but so far i don't quite have to. The grass has barely grown in the past 4 weeks.

I'm pretty sure that we'll get rain- i have a birthday party cookout to go to this evening. Cookout on a holiday weekend is an almost infallible rain magnet.

mid-afternoon would be perfect. That'd give me time to get home from work and the grocery store, and nap while it's raining. Since i'm requesting perfect timing, the rain should stop for a couple of hours during the cookout
