No vapor?

I just got the 510 and when I hit the prefilled carts that came with it I get good vapor.

I have tried filling empty carts, using new pollyfill, with eliquid and I'm not even getting as close to as much vapor. I feel the throat hit but very very little vapor comes out when I exhale.

Any suggestions? What might I be doing wrong? Thanks!

What liquid are you refilling with? Could be the liquid, or could be you just aren't filling it enough and it's not wicking properly. Another possibility is the atomizer is clogged or flooded, unscrew it and blow it out from the threaded side to be sure.

If you put a drop or two directly onto the atomizer bridge then puff, you can narrow down the issue, if it works fine that way then the cart is not wicking or is not full enough. If it doesn't work, the atty is either flooded or the liquid doesn't create much vapor to begin with.

I've used cherry cola and Kahlua, both 18mg, both on brand new atomizers. I'm guessing its just the liquids because I'm getting a good throat hit I just don't like the fact that sometimes little to nothing vapor comes out when I exhale. This is only day 2 I need all the same feelings as a analog as I can get! heh, thanks.

and when you say put ejuice directly on the atomizer and puff...you mean with no cart attached right?

This is a great vapor producing nicquid.

Be sure to clean your connections also. Use a q-tip with a small amount of alcohol, damp only-not wet, and clean all threads and connection points. Follow with a dry q-tip.
Dripping into the atty with a couple 2-3 drops, be sure not to get it too wet or let it get too dry. The atty on a 510 gets hot fast. I would suggest you use a cart empty of filler to keep your lips from burning. Tailpiping is only for the experienced. IMO

yes, this is called dripping. Blow it out, put a couple drops on the atty and try it. If your still getting good throat hit, but little to no vapor, most likely your juice is completely pg based, maybe someone can tell you exactly where you can get it, but just a little VG added to your juice will make more vapor. I think you can pick it up at drug stores/pharmacies, but dont quote me on that.

And if putting those few drops on the atty feels easier than refilling carts, you can just do that from here on out and become one of us drippers. A few drops lasts me about the same amount of time as 1-3 cigarettes, give or take. I find it way easier to carry a small dropper bottle and drip before each vape, rather than refilling and topping off carts. None of that dry filler taste, I honestly get about as much good vape time from a filled cart as I do a dripped atty, so fiddling around with the filler makes no sense for me. You can drill out the exit hole on the mouth piece to make it wide enough to allow a drop to pass through, then you no longer need to remove the cap, makes dripping even easier. Atomizers can flood easier though, so you need to form a habit of avoiding that by not using more than 3 drops at a time, blowing out the atty and keeping the connection wiped down. Throat hit, vapor, and flavor are generally better when dripping.
