Non-destructively removing the hard premium "glued" end-caps

Dumb question! Does the wrapper also come off or start to peel in the hot water? No, I have never boiled a carto.

I boiled a bunch today for 30min and the stickers are all fine

In one of the early threads about them breaking I suggested removing them when its hot from vaping but that would work too I'm sure.

I saw your earlier thread Joe, and it seems to work as well. They don't necessarily have to be "hot", and the metal cart wall is a good heat conductor - the "warmth" generated from recent vaping can be enough to loosen the glue layer contacting the cart wall. I will try this method as well, since it can be done right before the boiling phase with the same pot of water. Thanks for the tips and comments everyone as usual

I concur, sticker's fine. You can see mine is even still raised above the edge I posted in the photo, MK.

After 10mins of vaping, I wasn't able to get one loose just now without the sinking feeling it might be bad news going at it harder. That said - given the manufacturing variability, I'm sure it works at least part of the time. Also, the cap and carto wall would expand/shrink at varying rates with even a little heat - so I can see that too.

I had some carts that had a longer one piece soft rubber cap....

I liked them a lot, they were on a pack of Menthol 36 cartomizers...

I wish I knew why those had the caps like they do, I would gladly order more as they were easy to remove and replace....

It's a second type of premium. I'm going to work on compiling a list as I have most of the premiums.

That's why we talk about "hard caps" vs "softies".

If you have a question about a particular premium flavor - just ask! We'll chime in with what type they are.

In the coming weeks all premiums will be soft-cap.

i can confirm Smilin' premium cartos I got have a small cap and
Caramel Frap premiums had hard caps.

This was a great tip. I've got a bunch of premium cartos that I tried to refill via the condom method, but I wasn't really happy with the results. Tried this, worked perfectly and now I'm cleaning and refilling my premiums.
