Before asking my question, I do want to say that I have a Cobra and an AGA+, and like them both very much. But it seems that, just given the engineering approach to Genesis style RBAs, there's no such thing as entirely leak-proof vaping with them. I know you can minimize leaking with various strategies, but the bottom line is that I can't throw a genny into a backpack, bicycle around town all day and be absolutely assured that there isn't going to be a leaky mess. Just the nature of the beast.

So while my home vaping solution has been more or less completely resolved, I'm still searching for a perfect solution for a high quality build leakproof RBA that uses the essential architecture of a Nova or Kanger style tank, which I also like, but an RBA with these designs that have a build quality similar to a high-end Genny doesn't seem to exist.

I've been using three "out and about" tanks.

The Vivi Novas and the Drunker are OK, but they sometimes leak- not because of their inherent design, but because the threading is relatively cheap and unreliable. The same goes for the bottom feeding Evod. I recently bought 2 Protanks as well, which have become my road warriors of choice. I've also concluded I like the bottom feeding style better. Unlike many here, I LOVE the Protank's airy draw and the slightly cooler vape that results from the vape having to travel from bottom to top before being consumed. (This airiness is also causing me to revisit the possibility of the Z-Atty Pro, but this would of course be another "home" use device, where I can easily prevent it from tipping upside-down or on its side.)

But the Protank, while it is stainless steel and therefore much more mechanically stable, is still a far cry from the build quality of a top-dollar Genesis.

So what I want is this: A Protank style RBA that is built to last a lifetime, and will never, ever leak; preferably a bottom feeding device that I could juggle at the circus and still know that it will vape perfectly after the show is over. Not that I juggle or perform at circuses, but you know what I mean. This should also be as simple and straightforward as a Nova or a Kanger to recoil and wick. And any spare parts should also be easy to replace as necessary.

Is there anything like this out there?

I too love my genesis' and I do take them out but I'm always aware of their position. I have a sleeve in my purse that they slide down into and I can keep them pretty much upright. At least with the DIDs.. I don't have to worry about the top cap coming off. But I do miss the carto tank days when I didn't have to be aware of what position it was in. I remember when the genesis' first came out... no way was I going to use something that required that much care LOL.. but now they're all I use and I can take them every where.

I've looked at systems like the oddy and penny but they require twisting non resistance wire with resistance wire and I've not got into that. If I need something that I know won't leak, my drunker fits the bill.. but for me, it just doesn't quite give the vape that my gennys do and even when it's sitting here waiting for it's turn.. I usually grab a DID.

The MISTer Silica hybrid is an interesting design and looks like it would be good for out and about. But I'm not really interested in a hybrid device.. I like to switch around my stuff too much. So I'm watching for a juice delivery system like what's on top of the MISTer hybrid.

The kayfun, dream 804, MISTer, and even the killer in a tank all have similar feed systems but they also have a little more distance from the coil to your mouth. None of them will be as warm as the did for example. The 804s coil sets about midway and I consider it the perfect temperature for most of my juices, yet I still like your peanut butter in the drunker better (slightly warmer). Just something to consider. :vapor:

You and me both. As soon as I watched him build it I wanted that design in a non-hybrid atty. I'm sure a clone will be coming.

OP, there's a clone of the Penelope called the Euforia. Todd did a review and loved it (although he seems to love just about everything).

thats is sweet looking and

the top makes it happen baller style; awesome, details if you dont mind sharing

Actually what's in the picture in a $15 drunker tank. I do like and use it and I haven't had it leak, even laying on it's side. My older DID is pictured below on the provari with the Kurgan on it.
