Hey there. Just wanted give a shout out to any new peeps coming on to vaping. I started two weeks ago with my VaporKing (which I really dig) and have gotten quite a few cartos that are prefilled. Also, I've bought around 25 different bottles of juice to get started. Might be a bit much much but...uh...NOT! You can never have enuff of the "juice"!

Anyhoo....

ADVICE: BUY THE BOTTLED E-JUICE...NOT PREFILLS. There is no comparison to the taste of the prefills to filling your own blank with juice. The e-juice bottles TOTALLY rock in flavor and also have a better vapor production me thinks. Plus it's WAY cheaper to buy juice and fill your own. I personally like starting off by filling blanks with various flavors or mixes and labeling them. Then as I vape, I just keep topping them off with the same flavor to always keep them nice and wet. Even when I vape one flavor for a bit and change to another...I always fill up the one I was using to get it full up for the next time I use it. After awhile I'll clean them and use the same liquid as before in them. Of course, you can clean, then refill the prefills when you run them dry but I've found the blanks provide a cleanerm more satisfying vape overall. Just my 2 cents. Hope it helps. :smokie:

Yeah that's what I did from day one OP. I can imagine that it is just better than prefilled cartridges. I would think that the prefilled would dry up some during shipment, when it's just as simple to 14 or so drops in the blank ones, lift the filler up with a toothpick to absorb all the juice, stuff it back in, put 3 drops directly on the atomizer, and vape away! Doesn't get much easier than that. Better than having to go to the store in 5 degree weather, forgetting your lighter when you go out somewhere, spending $9 a pack, and smelling like crap. Not to mention that you get all stressed out when u have 3 cigs left and just always have the damn cigs as the first and last thing you think about when waking up and going to sleep! Love it, SO much easier!!!!

As a fellow newbie, I fully agree. Prefilled were dry and tasteless, but hey, they came with the kit. There are some many juices out there to try, they taste one thousand times better than that prefilled stuff, and it goes a much longer way. I haven't gone overboard on juice yet, but am sure I will make it there soon enough. And as speedlilly pointed out, if you buy some juices you know to save some back so you never go dry. Buying bottled juice can't be beat!

Just checked the fridge - more than 400 ml of juice in there, so no need to worry about a shortage too soon. Though now that we found some juices we like, we order those in bulks. Tried like 50 different flavours before :)

You store yours in the fridge?

Filling your own is definitely the way to go. After finding a juice I liked, I decided to order some prefilled cartos (filled with the same juice) along with my next juice order. Since the prefilled were priced the same as the blanks, I figured it would be like getting a bit of free juice. It didn't work that way. The prefilled cartos had little or no flavor. They were usable, but I ended up having to add juice to them to get any flavor.

I took all the prefilled ones out and squeeze the juice out of them (with gloves on) they where 26mg which was alittle much for me. added about 40% VG (they where all 100% PG) and it actually isn't that bad, the VG actually added a very slight sweet hint onto it. This should tied me over till tomorrow when my first order of eJuice comes in.

vapnfool...can you share what your favorite juice flavors are? I've been vaping for 2 weeks now, and already have gone waaayyy overboard ordering carts and its costing an arm and a leg. I'm eager to try out filling myself, but so many flavors, its hard to choose. I lean towards the sweet stuff, so if you've tried yummy ones, i'd love to get your feedback.
