Noob and high nic base

I ran the numbers the other night, I cut 60 ml 100 mg in half, cost about $1.60 in pg. Then I end up with 120ml of 50 mg. What's the price difference between 60 ml 100 mg [$9.99]and 120 ml 50 mg [48mg $9.99].

In this instance, it actually costs me more to buy the higher concentration. Dang.

You are correct sir, on the lookout for a better deal, but have a ton to use up first. Also obvious is that I'm overpaying for nic at higher concentrations.

Not to derail, but this is the FIRST TIME I've ever seen PG marketed for e-cig liquid on the label. That's a huge step forward.

as far as we know yes freezing does preserve it.

A little shopping can net you deals like $22 per gallon of VG at tractor supply stores.

As to the original question. I buy WL 100mg in 500ml size. I mix a 250ml bottle of 25mg base. I dont have to handle the high nic everytime I mix. I mix flavors into 30ml bottles so i can switch up flavors as often as I want.

For safety, I use an empty plastic tote to place my mixing apparatus and ingredients in to catch any possible spills.

sort of. If you buy 120ml of 48mg at WL you get 576mg per dollar. 500ml of 100mg gets you 877mg per dollar. So buying a small amount of 48mg will actually cost you 50% more than it would if you bought a larger amount of 100mg. There's not that much of a difference between 48mg and 100mg or 120ml vs 250ml but every little bit adds up to be a 50% difference.

I totaled the cost for the final batch of e-liquid using different strengths of nic base. High nic concentration did not add up in savings, I had to carry extra base and deal with more mixing (time is money too) whereas for the same $$ I could get lower nic base and have to store less base material! Different strokes for different folks
