So day 5 and all is relatively good.

The Ego C has been kind to me and I am happy, once I had learned it's foibles. Pretty sure I have had less than 15 cigs in the time I would have had over 100 so that is also great.

Still looking for that juice that will knock my socks off but hey I am good with what I have and have some more enroute.

So why is he hassling us then ? Well while I have a 2 battery set Ego C she whom must be obeyed has also taken an interest and has basically stolen, though she would no doubt use another term, a battery. That and the fact I cleverly managed to lose my charger for 24 hours means I am very, very battery sensitive !

I am certain you good folks have read a few hundred of posts like this and I have as well now however I have hit info overload and confused.

I have been reading about batteries and mods all weekend and really just need some recommendations.

If The Helix was not out of stock I think I would have just bought that and be done but it is so I can't. While variable voltage is interesting at the moment I am not fussed I just need something that will last my 12 - 14 hour work day without fuss or worry.

I do like the look of the I-Pro and Buzz and the Bolt looks solid enough. I love the name of the Darwin but not certain that I can live with it as the idea of tanks really appeals to me and they are just the little bit too expensive. The Provari is I am afraid just to complicated. I don't really want to think about what I am using just use it.

Kinda worried about Box Mods as I can break most plastic by just looking at it.

So there you go. Price to up that of a Buzz, long battery life and preferably metal construction.

I know we all smo.... sorry vape differently but any ideas about average use times would be useful to me.

Many thanks for letting me pick your brains once more !

Cheers
Andy

You'll get a hundred different suggestions from different people. It's too bad you think the provari is too complicated, it's a great device and I never have to think about it.

But I won't try and sell you on something that doesn't appeal to you. Any mod that can take an 18650 battery should hold you over just fine. I use a 3100 mah 18650 at around 5 volts all day and have been getting about a day and a half before I need to recharge. Before I got my provari, I was using a roughstack maxi and had no problems with it. You could also look at e-powers.

Both of Dan1911 suggestions are good.

I just wanted to point out that the Provari is not complicated. However, this Ohms/Resistance Cheat Sheet will make any VV, or, in fact, any other PV you decide on, much easier to use without too much thought when it comes to deciding on which attys or cartos to try.

Yeah I dont actually own a provari, so I cant really comment on it. The price of it is just a little too much for me to take the provari plunge. However, I would love one. I would assume that after a day of using the menu system the "complication" is a rather moot point. Besides, your only really going to be using the voltage up and down function - And even that its not like your gonna change voltage every 5 minutes.

Aesthetically its much more appealing to me than any vv device on the market, and you can get an extended cap with it to use a bigger battery. Any quality battery tube that uses an 18650 or higher is gonna give you a very long battery life. It really boils down to the features and the price your looking for. Everyone is gonna have a personal favorite battery mod, and a personal favorite VV device.

Elite Vaporworks Indulgence V3 Mod 3.7V Kit - Now with 2000mAh AW IMR Batteries - Mods

This will be comparable to your eGo. It's a little bit larger diameter, but all you eGo stuff will work on it. The included batteries will last all day. It's shiny, too. If the funds are available, buy 2 kits, so the lady who must be obeyed will have one to misappropriate from your stash.

Check out bluemistvaping.com- Very tasty flavors! Low prices! Great customer service! Free sample w/ order! Free shipping on orders over $75.

I should get a discount for the shameless plug.

I am not so self deluded to think that I will not end up buying a Provari at some point in the future but at the moment I have a $200 hick up that I can't quite get over.

It isn't at though I can't afford it, rebate has hit the bank account, if I thought it justified but at the moment I just can't get my head around it.

Why not just pick up a couple Riva 1100 mah batteries and a new charger. It'd probably be chaper to pick up a kit, but Vapor God sells Riva 1100 mah batteries for about $12.00.

You get about 1 hour per 100 mah of continous vaping. So the 1100 mah should last most of the day.

I don't own a provari. I used an ego for a year and was happy with it.

Fixed it.

Got a couple of Ego 18650 battery mods + a couple of batteries for just under $60. Should see the end of battery issues with the 2 1000 mAh batteries I have.

Been wondering what the Ego Clearomizers are like so threw in a few of those as well.

You chose wisely Grasshopper. You will have plenty of cash now to buy more clearomisers, a couple of EMDCC's and juice.

SWMBO will probably steal these too. You will order more.

Good luck. be carefull threading the body on to the switch and vape away. I use a EGO USB dongle to charge mine...Alittle slow but never disassembling is worth the extra hour too me.

Hopefully SWBO, must get Rumpole on DVD, will be sated as theoretically that gives us a 18650 and the Ego 1000 each.

Odd she is not interested in e-cigs but my new supplies are disappearing at twice the rate I expected lol

The fact I could use the same charger was a plus for me. We do have a charger around here somewhere and I guess I am about to make a concerted effort to find it over the next day or so.

Now I need Crystal Clear Vapor to re-open and order some Resurrectors that folks keep talking about and I should be good for a few weeks.

I nearly wrote that without smiling lol

No need to wait. Hoosier has them in stock and if you get them from him you don't have to put up with the slow shipping and rude customer service.

"Resurrector" is just a name that CCV calls those cartos. Any other store just calls them what they actually are: Smok 1.7 ohm XL cartomizers.
