Noob here, looking for guidance.

Hi there. I'm new to the forum, as well as to the concept of E-Cigs.

I got a PureSmoke e-cig a few days back, and it has already detatched it's wires from the battery. I'm trying to be more careful with my next purchase, so I thought i'd join the community to make my start.

What i'm looking for in an e-cig:

1. I would, above all, like something resilient. I don't want it to shatter upon touching it.

2. I enjoy the thought of modding my e-cig. I'd like a model/type that would be good for modification.

3. Black is my prefered color, but as i've read in other sections, it's not hard to recolor my casing. This is optional.

After I get my e-cig, i'll probably start my studying on how to mod it. If you guys could help me with some suggestions, and if any of you are well-enough modders, do help me out.

As far as the battery goes, contact your supplier for a replacement. Detached wires is a bit unusual, and may have been a factory defect.

I suggest to get over the learning curve, and research. When you're comfortable using your new toy, you can check out the Modders Forums.
