Just started vaping last Tuesday and a lot of the terminology and other things: how often to clean the wicks (?), I really just need an introductory lesson and I am hoping someone can point me in the right direction so I can learn more ("Cause knowledge is power!). I have an e-Go-T upgrade and not sure if it's a clearomizer or atomizer? I know I have to rinse the wicks every so often, not sure how often and have to replace them after I've cleaned them 3-4 times. Any type of help would be appreciated very much or just point me to somewhere I can learn more please? Ya'll seem to know so much and I feel kind of stupid about vaping other than the basics. Thanks!

Never feel stupid as there are no such things as a stupid question when it comes to vaping, whether you are a newbie or veteran, we all learn something new everyday.
Now you said you have the ego-t, so I am assuming that it is the one with the pointy atomizer head and the small clear tubes which hold juice that you have to insert into the atomizer? If so, that is the one that used to be called (maybe its still called that) the Tankomizers. I've used it before, but didn't like the fact that it doesn't last as long as, say cartomizers or clearomizers. Since you do have an ego battery, you could pretty much use everything that has a 510/ego threading delivery system. As to which one is better between the Tankomizers, clearomizers, or cartomizers is solely up to which one you like best. You would need to try the other delivery systems in person in order to find the one you like.

Cleaning the atomizer really depends on what type of liquid you are using, how often do you vape, do you change flavors often, and such. When I was using them, if I was vaping dark colored liquids I cleaned them every 3-4 days as it clogged my atomizer pretty fast, but if I was vaping light colored liquids around once a week.

Hi!

An eGo is an eGo. It's a style of battery. The original was made by Joyetech, but generics abound. They are called "eGo," that same way "Kleenex" is used for tissues. The "T" you see tacked on the end refers to the type of "juice delivery system" (what holds the juice and delivers it to the heat element to be vaporized) the kit came with. For that particular model you may want to look on youtube, as there are videos posted on just about every device on the market.

Below is an illustration of eGo threading to give you an idea of different kinds of juice delivery systems you can use with the battery:

Wow! Thank you so much! Now to start figuring it all out, lol! I'll see if I can post a bigger picture of my set-up, right now I have it as my avatar, heehee! I was proud of my little machine and since I just got it yesterday, well, I'm enamored at the moment. I love how it came out for me and reflects my personality a bit with all the colors. I guess that's a girl thing. I want a black battery and yellow and red tanks (?) for my football teams for football season. LOL! I feel like a minion from Despicable Me when I look at it, ooooooooooooh! Haha!
