Noob question about wick/coil

How long does a wick last in an OdyV2? I've had the same wick/coil for over a week and it still seems fine (although I think the guts of my Ody could use a cleaning to get back full air flow). So, I guess I'm asking is it just a change based on taste or is there a set interval in which the wick material starts degrading (I'm still using the wick that came with it)?

The best routine is your routine. I have seen my wik break down a bit but that is more due to the mouthpiece being adjusted a lot then actual vaping. Mostly you want to change when you feel it doesn't taste or perform like it should. I personally clean my coil every day and replace every other day but my juice really cruds up coils. I have seen others that use their coils for weeks and even months.

Thx Fright. The urge to tinker overwhelmed my desire to keep using something that was working. I think I could've gone another week or two.

I have to say I have both Ody and Penelope and the only real reason I had for changing the wick/wire so far was the urge to really find that perfect vape. I found it on both and other than taking off the caps, tank and mouthpiece for a good hot water rinse and a decent dry burn to de gunk the coils, I have not changed my coils in about a week on Ody and over a week on Penelope. No signs of needing to change them any time soon either.

I clean it every time i change juice or if the taste goes.

I get a few days maybe 4 but I use 100% VG juices , with pg it should last longer from what I understand .

For me it seems twice a week. But it's pure VG juices.
