noob question unflavored nic juice VG

Hello to all!! I decided it was time for me to try and give diy a go for the second time. I usually vape between 18 and 24 mg. I have stealth vaped and found I have a allergy to PG.

My question is if I buy unflavored nic juice at 24 mg then add flavoring will this lower my nic level? Also if I have to thin it out with distilled water will that also lower it? Any help would be very much appreciated. Thank you.

Yes. The nicotine will be diluted down to a lower mg with any additions that you make.

Yes just as Salem said, anything you add to your nic base will lower the nic strength. Just to give an idea, If you add 20% flavor & 5% DW to a 24mg nic base you will end up with a 18mg e-liquid.

This kinda what I do.

I buy 50mg Unflavored PG Nicotine Base and then add Pure VG to make 23mg PG:VG Unflavored Nicotine Base.

When I go to mix a DIY Recipe, I just add Flavoring and Sweetener to the 23mg Pre-Mix and La Vola, I have Flavored (Roughly) 18mg e-Liquid.
