Not all droppers are created equal. For instance a squeeze bottle with a 20 gauge needle will make smaller drops then a squeeze bottle with a 14 gauge needle. So when ever you can it's best to measure by ml. Most concider 20 drops = a ml when using an 18 gauge needle.

"Thanks guys my recipe was Tribeca its called for 9 % dry4 and 1 drop of Acetyl P per 5 mils ,I only have a beaker to measure with and had no clue what one drop equaled--- so now Im not even sure how to measure something that small with a 10 mil beaker"

Honestly with AP I will add 1 drop per 5ml right from the bottle then steep it and taste it. If it's not right I'll add another drop. After the initial steeping if you do add the extra drop let it sit over night and try it again. if that's good take a 1ml syringe pull the plunger out and add 2 drops into the back of the syringe and see how much that is in the syringe (.01ml) that will give you a close idea on how much each drop is ml wise.

I just tested the common plastic dropper bottle that most juice comes in. 20 drops = 1.05 mL. Ok, .05 mL is hard to read so I did it with 40 drops and got 2.1 mL, and again with 80 drops which came out to 4.2 mL exactly. I did the same test with a another random plastic dropper bottle from my collection and it came out exactly the same.

Conclusion: If all you have is a (washed and empty) plastic squeeze dropper bottle, 20 drops = 1 mL+ an almost insignificant extra volume (.05 mL), i.e., close enough.

There you have it then. If at all possible use the same dropper bottle but it's best to still measure by ML when possible. I think you have enough info no to clear up some of this confusion. If not ask away but I think your headed down the right path at this point.

There you have it then. Use that dropper bottle to measure drops when measuring by mi is not possible. I think you are heading in the right direction and if things are still confusing ask questions and we'll see if we can clear them up.

Ops double post sorry....

The "Age Old Question... How many angels fit... Oh, I meant how many drops in a ml?"
Answer that I love best.... "it depends." LOL

I only use drops when I'm making a small batch for testing.. ie. 5ml. I always use the same type syringe which I tested many times and that syringe has 38 drops per ml of pg flavoring. Never use the syringe to measure any other liquid with a different viscosity and never use the dropper tip in a flavoring bottle.. too inconsistent.

Once I like a test flavor, I mix 30ml bottle using an ejuice calculator and syringes and graduated cylinders.
Forgive the verbosity of an old fart, please!
