Noob questions...

Can someone help...I have a Riva and a wetbox....but I don't know what atomizers and carts and battys to get (for xtras)...wetbox is 510..bought another w/808d1 threads,can these be interchanged w/808 to 510 adapter? Also..what passthru do I need for 510 and 808...Thanks .. Sorry if questions are dumb...but I am still a noob...but ...a vaping noob!!! WOOHOO!!

Some brands do interchange, others don't. I'm not sure on that one but, if the sizes and specifications (wattage etc..) are the same and, any threads for attachment match, then I think it would be fine.

The Riva will most likely use adapters to make it 808 compatible .
The wetbox has a needle that pushes the juice up to the tube of the carto so it would not be a good idea to use an adapter with it. It is easy to get juice in the switch if you use things other then the recommended cartos and the needle that it comes with. I found out my needle was shorter then it was suppose to be and had to send it to missy to be fixed.

Hey debb. I use a 510 to 808/901 adapter with my Riva all the time. I prefer 808 cartos to the 510s. As far as the Wetbox goes, I have delegated my Wetbox to the "drawer of shame" and written it off as a bad purchase. That damned thing leaked like crazy and within a week the switch was shot. Can't easily replace the switch either because Missy, the girl who makes them, decided to encase the whole switch body in melt glue.
Nyxie is right about using an adapter with the wetbox. Probably wouldn't get the juice high enough into the carto with an adapter on there.

sorry to hear about the wet box.

I've had mine for a couple months with no issues and I love it. Never had a leak or switch issue but maybe I'm just lucky.

I only use 510 cartos with mine (wet box) because the draw suits me better. I use LR 510s on my eGo and adapters work for 808/901s. I don't think the wet box will work with adapters because the feeding needle would be too short.

I think you'll want a 510 passthrough. Here's a decent one from what I hear (don't use one myself) Mega 510 Sit and Go USB Passthrough
I've read good things about them. They have a battery that can be removed and used on the go.

Just buy a 5vlt manual passthru and take your 510 attys off the devices and screw them on the passthru. Then Vape away!

I have a Pure Smoker 5vlt PT and it is awsome. I also have a cheap 5 volt passthru I purchased from Vapor Kings and it works pretty good but the switch is not always consistent.

Yeah, probably got a lemon. I've built my own juicer since then so......
Should have tried to send it back to Clouds of Vapor, I'm sure they would have made things right, but I didn't. my bad. (not a very good switch in those things though)
