Hello,
I vaped on and off for a year before deciding to switch permanently 4 months ago. Im a chemist by education, engineer by profession, and have had an interest in electronics since I was very young. I've been lurking for a while and decided to join the conversation.

The only thing I need help with is finding good tasting reasonably priced juices. Ive been blending my own and it is serious hit or miss, so I can appreciate a quality controlled product. However, local shops are selling 30ml for $22! Its no cheaper than cigarettes at that price point!

Ive tried online vendor dirtcheapejuice, but I wasnt impressed. Does anyone have some suggestions?

DId you start by trying making your own recipes or by finding some recipes by people who already had developed recipes and then tweaking them? ECF has a very active DIY E-Liquid

Ive mostly ventured into DIY on my own. I have tons of water soluble or dispersable flavors from my work (dietary supplement and OTC Drug formulation) along with plenty of USP glycerin so I just played around. I dont vape enough to make DIY cost effective so I just want a reasonably priced vendor with decent, quality controled flavors. Ive set a budget for vape supplies (75% of what I spent on cigs) and I dont want juice to tap into that too much. I want more toys! I will look into your resources around here.

Oh and I started on a pen, now I am on a tugboat clone with a samsung l in a tube mech mod running about 0.5 ohm. Im building a wood dual parallel mech mod box. If the mech box comes out good Ive already got plans for a dual 26650 series box voltage regulated with a buck converter.

You spend 22usd for 30ml of juice. And the above is not cost effective?
I pay a quarter/oz DIY..
