Hello and welcome to the forum. Glad to have you here!:)

If you are looking for a setup here are some possible options for you to consider:

Hardware

Variable v/w (twist/spinner) "ego style" battery is usually recommended over a "non" variable v/w battery. It allows you to adjust your settings to get a better "vape". Some flavors taste better at higher voltages than 3.7v

1. joyetech Ego-C Twist
2. Vision Spinner
3. Innokin iTaste vv v3
4. Innokin iTaste MVP v2

The first 3 are fall into the "ego style" category of battery (with variable voltage). They range in size from 600mah to 1300mah. The higher the mah the longer the battery will last between charging. The 4th one is a step up from an "ego style" battery in that it is a smaller variable v/w box mod with a very big battery (2600mah). It will last many vapers a whole day before it needs recharging. It is probably one of the most popular batteries for someone upgrading from an "ego style" battery.

I suggest buying only name brand Joyetech Twist or Vision Spinner ego batteries. BTW, "ego" is merely a type of battery, not a brand name. Buying "generic" ego batteries is always going to be hit or miss...mostly miss.

You will need to purchase a tank (the juice attachment) with the first three on the above list. The mini Nautillus, mini Aerotank or regular size Aerotank (all made of glass & all have adjustable airflow control) are very popular. The MVP Kit comes with a tank but it is not glass.

Why would you want a glass tank (you may be thinking to yourself)? Here is a great resource regarding "tank cracking" eliquid by ECF member Baditude: Something Safe for Cinnamon and Citrus Flavors

Make sure to open all his links! Two of those links are:

* A blog post by ECF member The Ocelot titled "EEEKKK it's Melting".
* A "HUGE" list of juice and flavorings that may cause problems as far as cracking, fogging, or etching polycarbonate tanks (compiled by ECF member my4jewels).

Hi Susan,

Very interested in the innokin itaste mvp v1 or v2, or the itaste vv 3, not sure though if this is available in the Philippines. I am currently overseas but am heading home for the holidays and plan to do my purchase there. Plus it has to be discrete looking when broken down as I currently reside in a place where these things are not exactly welcome, to put it euphemistically.

HI,

New to the vape world. I have no gear yet but am on the look out for a good starter kit with some flexibility to grow into it. Thinking of getting an ego type set-up.

Cheers

hi newbie,

i am also new here but one advice, if you real want to stop smoking get a good device, last year i got a crappy device and hated it and went back to smoking next day

with good device you fell good and it reduces the argue to smoke cigarettes

just my opinion, ask other experts and decide which works for you

The newest MVP 20watt is about to be released so you might want to wait a bit.

Also the ipv mini is very nice, but you'll need to supply a battery for it.

The aspire nautilus or nautilus mini are good tanks to start out with.

yes, been looking at those as well, thanks!
