Been living in Winston-Salem for 8 years now. I can see the Giant Tampon in the Sky from my driveway.

Not from NC but I miss NC! Spent a summer near Winston-Salem as a kid (played in the red mud a lot) and I've been to Mt Airy for a fiddle festival, and near Asheville 7 or 8 times for a week of music workshops at Warren Wilson.

Awww no birthday presents for the grandkids? Well I hope you like them (the juices haha). When I was kid one great aunt would always give us cheap fun toys for the 5&10 wrapped in aluminum foil. Things like the one where you draw hair and beard with a magnetic stick to moving the filings under the plastic, etc. So there's an idea for you.

Lived in Winston Salem all of my life. Anyone who is close and wants to get up a small group, I am definitely game. Shoot me a PM. We could build a Triad area group and rotate or something.
