Northwest Arkansas meet up at Jose's on Dickson

Hey everyone! We are looking to have a get together on Saturday the 25th at Jose's on Dickson St in Fayetteville at around 2:00. This will be just a chill and meet your fellow vapers kind of thing, not like a big Vapefest/Vapestock where lots of venders come and prizes are won. By all means bring your stash so we can all check out each others stuff and maybe try some new flavors or equipment. If you have a friend that's interested in starting to vape this would be a good opportunity for them to learn more about vaping. If sjrily and ajrily (new suppliers in Rogers) are so inclined, they may bring some of their e-juice line for us to sample and perhaps purchase. (???) Holla back if you can make it!

BTW, I've got 3 unopened Smoketech 510 regular wide bridge attys that I'm really not fond of. (I opened 2 of the 5 I ordered just to make sure.) If someone would like to trade for regular 510 attys, either all 3 or singly, drop me a PM and I'll bring with.

I still can't believe you drove all the way up here from Little Rock, what a trooper! It was really great to meet you (I still have vape envy, lol!) Maybe next time we all get together it can be closer to you and more people will come but I still had fun with our little group.

And you guys have some serious vaping machines! (Serious mod envy). I've avoided all that as long as I can, I guess. So much to learn, so much to try...(then it evolves to "so much to make and build"...which is precisely why I tried to avoid it *lol*)

BTW - the dual coil LR cart - won't operate on the 5V box I had with me. I've been using it on mostly on the 750mAh eGo - when I got home (I had so much envy), thought I'd try it on the box (since they are recommended for up to 7V), but I guess it sees it as a short or something - thought I blew the box for a minute (but it recovered).

The regulator is not rated to draw that much current. I think madvapes only puts a 2 or 3 amp regulator in them. The dual coils pull 3.3 amps at 5v. It will fry it if it gets too hot, but sounds like it has thermal protection or it wouldn't have come back on.

It was fun seeing everyone. I will be putting an order in for that almond joy next time I need juice. I still tasted it in my atty till about the time I got home.

As for the mod envy, I wasted a lot of money on mods before I found the reo grand. They go up for sale from time to time. You have to follow the reomods forum to find out when. I think its on tuesdays at 6pm. You have to be quick with your mouse or you won't get the color you want lol

They pop up on the classifieds from time to time also.

Unfortunately living in my neck of the woods it takes almost 2 hours just to get to interstate these days. But will definitely see what I can do about making the next one.

It was a long drive (3-3.5 hours) but it was worth it. It's nice to have a group of people that understand you when you say atty.

I am going to try to get something together for little rock next weekend if there is still interest. Seemed like there was some in the beginning but died off. Could be they don't frequent our small subforum often enough to see what's going on.

Not everyone who joins the forum sticks around for good. It's sad to think I'll never talk to some of the people I've met here ever again. SO! No one else is allowed to leave! (please?)
