Not as much flavor when dripping

I have noticed that while dripping there isn't as much flavor as using a filled cart. There is great vapor and throat hit but the flavor is way less. Anyone else find this to be the case?

It also seems to be dependent on what juice I'm using. I actually prefer to drip my Atommic Fireball as the flavor is crazy stong. But there is a definite flavor difference between dripping and not.

Maybe the flavoring is diminished by the extra heat? That's my guess. I haven't yet tried to drip...I only have 2 attys and I'm afraid I'll burn them out.

could it be you have crappy juice ? where did you get it from ?

Seems to me that with dripping you go from nearly flooded to bone dry fairly repetitiously. There's some good puffs somewhere in the middle. I've gone back to filling carts for the time being.

So what atty, mod and voltage are you using?

I've never tried cartomizers in my 510 but am curious after reading your posts. I mix my own VG ejuice at a low nico strength so with all my vaping I don't get too much nico or throat hit. Don't want a high throat hit just all the flavor/vapor I can get. I am thinking about getting a new PV that has a 901 HV atty at 5 v for my serial vaping.

I have found just the opposite to be the case. I used to fiddle around with all of the various cart mods, and then I got my BB from altsmoke. Since then, I haven't touched a cart and just strictly direct drip on the atty(510 atty.) Two to three drops and I am good to go for at least 4-6 drags, then the taste starts to change and I know it is time to add a few more drops.
I also keep the heat of the 510 atty from burning my lips by using the silicone cap that comes on a kr808 cartomizer that I cut a hole in. It fits snuggly over the atty and has a hole big enough to drip through. IMO it is the only way to truly enjoy vaping.

All my juices so far are from tasty vapor and they are quite flavorful even with dripping. But there is a definite difference in flavor when dripping and using a cart.

Maybe a slower burn allows the flavor to come through.

Normal stock atty and voltage. Not mod yet, but I do have The Chuck on order. I don't use cartomizers just normal stock carts with blue foam as the filler. I just notice when using the carts I get more flavor then just direct dripping.
