the screw to fill the tank doesnt tighten all the way. and it leaks wayyyy to often. changed out the carto twice and still no luck. poorly designed in my opinion.

I generally don't recommend any tanks under $15 - $20 just because of a lack of quality and manufacturing/materials used/quality control. The cheap Smoketech and Boge tanks fit in this category. Once you get into the $20 - $25 range and above, the quality is pretty consistantly high among all manufacturers.
Also never been a fan of the tanks with a juice fill hole/screw. Takes less than a minute to fill a cartotank if you use a tank accessory tool like a slap-yo-moma tool. If you use a tank that utilizes a fill hole, if you loose the screw the whole tank is useless.

Love mine! I can put All 6ml. in it and then loosen the screw to balance the pressure out. Carto dies- it's easy to get the remaining juice out.
I've gotten a bad one and just sent a quick email out and gotten another quickly. Give the supplier a chance.

I have 8 of the PRO3s and haven't had a single problem with any of them leaking a drop. I do have one that the fill screw was cross threaded somehow so I have to make sure I get the screw in straight. Vape Dudes likely would have replaced that one for me if it was a big enough deal, but it wasn't really to me. I'd be willing to bet they'd do what they could to make it right for you if you give them a chance.
I have a variety! I started with the ones from valley vapes which are the same as the Texas tuff tank. I still use them but I've never had any problems with them leaking. Now I use them for juices I don't vape quite as much since I have to break out the needle to fill them. How long have you had it? Could you return it? Otherwise you might be able to buy new grommets, orings & even a new screw. I know valley vapes sells replacements.
as far as returning it i'd rather not go through that hassle. when i placed my order they shipped out only the juice i ordered with 2 samples but they forgot to include the 3 tanks i ordered. after emailing and calling them my issue was not dealt with. i had to contact them via fb and they finally sent them out. even then they were missing the drip tips on one of the thanks and i contacted them and they said they would ship one out when they were back in stock. its been about a month and a half or so. but yeah ill definitely look around for some tanks in the 20+ range.
Man this has me a little worried. Although there was some hope in there too. I have one of these on order with some juice. I ordered Monday morning and have yet to receive a ship notice. Not worried so much about that, at least not yet.
I just filled a j-tank. My first carto tank. So far I'm impressed. Otherwise, I'd recommend an evod or protank. I've had a good experience with an iClear30 too, but it's not as good as either the evod or protank.
