I gave away one Ego Mega atty and one died on me. All I have left are some LR atomizers and used my first one yesterday. I was surprised at how much I dislike them. Every juice I have tastes burnt. I also had a tank LR atty that died after three days of minimal use. Just purchased three new attys today and can't wait till they arrive. Lastly both my tongue and throat feel raw after using the LR atty. I know some people love them but they are not for me.

I love my LR's. I just received another order for 20 of 'em. But some people just don't like them. LR carto's are usually around 2.0 ohm's, LR atty's can go 2.0, 1.7, or 1.5 ohm's. Make sure you blow all the primer fluid out of them before you start vaping on 'em or they'll be pretty harsh. They can take a while to break in too. If there was a lot of primer it can be 1/2 a day. Then keep them wet and take shorter hits to avoid burning your juice.

I've found that so many lr atty's are harsh no matter how long you use them but there have been some that are smooth and terrific from day one. I have a feeling that it depends on the brand and where to buy them. If I get that info, I'll pas it your way because you'd love them. I've asked the question in the veterans thread so have to wait for an answer.

I would start from scratch and clean one of the LR atty. Let dry for a day and prime it with fav juice. I just add 4-5 drops let sit for a min then blow it out. Then try vaping it. If its harsh, then I just add a 2 more drops then I be fine. I also use vg juice with 5%vodka & 5% distilled to make it drip easier.
If you don't like cleaning new attys, Cisco attys have no primer in it so all you do is prime it when you get it making sure the atty is soaked before vaping or it will be damaged. I think there is another vendor that sells atty with no primer but i forgot where.

Ok the problem was the polyfill. I fill my cartos with new polyfill when the old polyfill gets icky. The pillow filling type polyfill I was using must break down with the extra heat the LR produces. Still not loving them as they drain my 1100 and 650 batteries pretty quickly. Once I replaced my polyfill carto with a new carto the burnt taste was gone. So the filler was killer. lol

Yeah, I had probs with the LR atty too. I still don't like it as much because I constantly am having to top off the cart to keep everything wet. I found that pressing the battery button 1/2 as long as I would if I have a reg atty attached seems to help. I have switched back to reg atty's because I don't want to have to think about it...plus the burning taste got super old, even when I kept topping off. I would imagine that burning poly or blue foam may produce a nasty chemical bi-product that we're inhaling? just sayin' :p
