Not receiving email notifications for threads and pms

Since Sunday, I have not been receiving the email notifications that I have private messages. I also am not receiving the email notifications for the threads that I am subscribed to. I checked all of my settings and the proper boxes are still checked to enable the email notification function but the notifications aren't coming.

Please advise.

Yes, Elendil. That is correct. I check email more than I am on the forum and my notifications would always let me know that I have a pm or that a thread I've subscribed to has been updated. I get all my other email, just no notifications from the forum. I still get the screen pop up notification if I'm already on the forum, but not the email notifications.

Try this. Change the setting to NOT get the email and then log off. Then log back on and change it back to receive email notification.

Nope not working. I unchecked the following items:

Receive Email from Administrators
Receive Email from Other Members
Receive Friendship Request Email
Enable Private Messaging

and in the Default Thread Subscription Mode i chose "Do not Subscribe"

I Logged off and logged back in put everything back as you said. Then I sent 2 test pm's to myself, but still no email notification. I checked my email listed under settings and its correct.

Took your suggestion, changed the setting, logged off and then reapplied the setting and then sent pm to myself. Still no email notification received.

FYI when I initially applied here, I used my 'everyday' email addy but I never got a reply though the site said I was registered and to wait for conf email with link (to complete registration and be able to sign in). It never came. Waited 2 days lol
So, I registered again (different username obviously) I used my 'mostly for spam' email addy and it went through in minutes - confirmation link n all. I don't have any spam filters on the everyday email so I have no idea what happened.

Some email providers are overly zealous when it comes to blocking what it believes is spam. I know we have big issues with att.net and sbcglobal (and the ones they own), and will have to jump through a lot of hoops to get that cleared up.

Bikergirl, weve checked the email logs, and the email that has been sent to you shows as being delivered. You may want to get with the ones who provide your email service and inquire why you aren't getting them.
